I see that Mich QB Brandon Peters has entered the Portal. At one point it looked like he was going to be a starter, then the next thing he was 4th on the depth chart.
Transfer QB's, used to be going into a season their might be a transfer or two of significance it's always been that way. Troy Aikman was a transfer, Russell Wilson was a transfer, Vince Ferragamo was a transfer. So it's not new. But this year there are more transfers than ever that are set to possibly make their mark. Jalen Hurts at OU Kelly Bryant at Missouri Brandon Wimbush at UCF Shea Patterson at UM Justin Fields at Ohio State Shane Buechele at SMU Gage Gubrub at Wazzu Jacob Eason at Wash edit to add.. Hunter Johnson at Northwestern. Those are some big names from HS recruiting.
I see that Lane Kiffin picked up DeAndre Francois the FSU QB who was booted over domestic abuse of his girlfriend. He had a good start at FSU and looked like a really good prospect till the FSU OL got him killed and then the off the field stuff. But amongst all that he managed to graduate in 3 years and has 2 years left to play for FAU. Kiffin after that really good first year has fallen back to mediocre.

That's interesting that they are pushing so hard to keep him. Either they believe he's a special talent, or they don't have much depth at WR.. maybe both.
I see now that he wants to return to USC? He seems to be unable to make a decision and stick with it??
