....hmmmmm, let's see. 30 degrees, 20 mph winds, snow, sleet, ice rain, on a slippery field in AnnArbor -v- 70 degrees and sunny on a fast track in Orlando. Priceless!

Coach had Boeckman throw 2(!) passes total in the second half, because there was no need to do otherwise. The Stripeheads were getting their a$$es kicked in the trenches on both sides of the ball and we have a pretty fair running back who with his oline dominated play. Michigan had 91 yards of total offense...they would not have scored if they had played 12 quarters.

The single biggest reason the Stripehead offense was healthy and humming up and down the field all day was the Gator defense.

I can't dispute that remark about the Gator defense Terry. It's back to the weight room and drawing board fo the Gator D.

We open with Hawaii and Miami next season, that's a couple of relatively easy tuneups before things get serious with Tennessee.

Well I said I would tally this morning so here goes

    The clear winner was Tebow

    Tebow 5 votes

    D Mac 1 vote

    Harrell 1 vote

Todd Boeckman 1 or 2

Honorable mention Doug Flutie and Ron Powlus

Wow with all my charm, begging, barbs and whatever I just couldn't entice most of the ABBTT (Any Body But Tim Tebow} crowd to make a positive decision and pick a better candidate.

I don't know what that says the most about, my lack of people skills, or that it's easy to start a topic knocking something, but not so easy to make an alternate, positive solution.

I think you guys know my opinion about that!

Thanks and have a great day.

    Great showing by Boeckman

I'm glad he didn't win as he has another game to play and as we both know all too well. that Heisman jinx can be nasty.

Little late on this topic. But, since I was not claiming that Tebow was undeserving, I thought I would stay out of it. However, since the above write in was posted, I must now submit a write in for Manning... Peyton of course.

I like Charles Woodson a lot but Tebow seemed the logical choice.

    BT,

If Andy were still alive, you recent post about "asskicking" the "Stripeheads" would have resulted in an emergency meeting of the Skybox Big 10 Brothers in Unity During Bowl Season to harshly deal with your transgression. Gloating about conference victories over an esteemed conference partner and brother during bowl season is in plain violation of the by-laws.

I hear you brother...I felt his presence and now appear before the bench on bended knee here to plead my case of extenuating circumstances. I was blind-sided by a Gator drive-by cheap shot and was compelled to defend myself by lashing back at the wounded perp while he was obviously defenseless.

I'll keep my guard up and shan't repeat the offense.....great job by the Blue. I had an inkling that those kids would show well and show well they did.

Bobda, make it a season-long brotherhood and you will be the B-U-D-S.

I'm guessing that it isn't likely to happen.

Impossible, Sid. It is hard enough to keep the Ohio guys humming the SB conference fight song and not screaming out F**k Michigan for this brief two week period.

    BT,

Given the extenuating circumstances, my recommendation is that all charges are dismissed. My understanding is that my other SB "brothers" here, all Ohioans, thought charges were not warranted to begin with.

Amazing as it might seem, for the Ohio State/Texas game in Columbus I saw lots of people wearing shirts with that on it, and selling shirts with that on it...and they were playing Texas!! :)

Too long, Corey. But how about the Domers setting up a rival group when you finally find your way back into the bowls. I kinda like this Acronymn

    Celts United for Neverending Touchdowns
