meh. When you think about it, while this incident may have offended a few people (many more when it went viral) there were no victims here. Stupid.. yes, lack of respect for his position in the community..yes. In view of his history, a very short suspension is probably appropriate. 8)

If it had not been for the rape charge that was not prosecuted I doubt this would have been an issue.

I would agree that Johnny M was a pompous ass. He was good, he was privelaged and he flaunted it.
The pattern for Jameis (and having heard him speak) leads me to believe he's retarded and probably cant do ANYTHING correctly but play football...

My Florida connections are telling me that there may be more to this story, and there may be additional penalties coming. :?

I don't care what happened, but I'm encouraged that everyone is tweeting about this. I bought Twitter (TWTR) stock this week, so I want everyone to keep tweeting!

Winston, for what's it worth, had excellent grades in high school and was recruited and accepted for enrollment at Stanford and recruited by ND.

Think the problem here is maturity and probably an entitlement syndrome created by the adulation he receives for being a teenage football star.

Whatever happens tonight, I hope they can keep this melodrama going for another month.

I can't believe that Fisher is letting Winston on the field tonight. Not only that............

The "boy" just doesn't get it and is accustomed to getting his way..

The look on Jimbo's face was priceless... :D

I'm surprised he's on the sideline, and every time he goes to "help" Sean MacGuire, Sean gives him a WTF look.

It didn't to seem to be much of punishment for Winston. He seemed to be enjoying himself. Relaxed, smiling. It punished his teammates, they were without a key teammate but Winston seemed fine. Why was he allowed to be on the sideline? :?
