Sounds like great fun guys but unfortunately, it's right smack in the middle of the scheduled family vacation and KC ain't on the list that I've promised for them....count me in for 2010 tho.
Dang it, Buck-T. I thought we were going to hook up. I just got a box of 2005 Edicion Limitada Montecristo "C"s, too.
It's going to be really hot that time of year in KC. I'm good for either July 25 or Aug 8. The June 13 date would be out of the question and the Aug 22 would probably work.
I play every year in a golf outing up in northern Mi. in early Aug. I'm not sure if it will be scheduled for that weekend or not. Will try to find out this week.
Sounds like you need my address! It is too bad, but the wife and kids have been planning this one for a long time.....nothing short of an insanity plea will get me out of this one.
FYI, I'm flexible on my vote for Aug. 8. If another date works better, I'm all for it. Gipper and BT, how about a date that you know doesn't conflict with your schedule?
Aug 8 should work...July 25 ok too... Rick...I'll help you work on the stogies...could bring some Hoyo de Tradicion Toro Grandes or Carlos Toranos 1916 Camaroon Robustos.
Thanks Sid, but you guys shouldn't work the schedule around my summer calendar, you'll never get there....being the proud father of two competitive swimmers, we spend most summer days, evenings and weekends either at the pool or on the road. Once the season ends, we're usually away till school starts.... enjoy. Sounds like a blast. Stu, save at least one those stogies for me! Maybe next seasons SC game in Columbus? 8)
Terry...sounds good, though doubt I can score a ticket...mebbe we can get Gerry to come down and tailgate then he and I can go to Champ's or somewhere to watch the game. My kids were swimmers too...
Terry: I do. Why don't you e-mail it to me? Stu - I'll pack an extra bag I'm planning to bring at least one good bottle of bourbon as well. As far as dates - I'm pretty open (though I would prefer July/August) and am waiting to hear from those that might have a scheduling conflict. I'd hate to learn that the Gipper won't be there.
AJ I'm committed to play at Treetops 8/7 and 8/8. All the other dates are OK. I suggest you find the date that the most folks can make it and go with it.
Right now my schedule runs out to September without any travel scheduled. As long as I get it in pretty quick, I should be able to keep any of those dates open. Just ned to know quickly. If the decision process drags out I will tell you if any of the weekends get pinned with travel assignments.
hey jiffster <r>jiffster:<br/> <br/> there is this thing called AMTRACK. Consider it no hassel driving <E></E></r>
RE: Amtrack I was on a training assignment while working for Intel in the 90's. I gave up my return airline ticket just to have the experience of traveling by train from San Jose, California to Albuquerque, NM. I absolutely loved the laid back travel experience. My only concern was having to take a taxi in Southern California to switch trains. Otherwise, it was an experience that I would not mind repeating... maybe the next time, Cindy can go as well.
Ok, gotta have the Gipper there. Here's the revised choices. We're gettin it narrowed down. JULY 18 = RAYS JULY 25 = RANGERS = 2 votes AUG 22 = MARINERS
