Return of Lloyd didn't get his picks in for the first two games. After his performance in the regular season, he's just allowing us a head start.

Louisana Lafayette and Ohio win on final seconds of their games. (both underdogs) Temple big over Wyoming. The 2011 Bowl season is underway.

I picked NIU over Ohio because their punter complained about going to that bowl game and SDSU over ULaLa...because well it's SDSU and they are ULaLa...oh well.

I don't give high points on the lower tier bowls because you have no idea how motivated the teams are to be there.

I'm 0-3, but I've hardly lost any points. The only real surprise so far was ULaLa beating San Diego St. at the gun. Rocky Long said they were fast, but I thought he was just hyping the game. Guess what? Rocky was right. ULaLa is very fast and I will pay more attention to them in the future. The Ragin Cajuns are on the rise...

Two games decided right at the end. I feel sorry for people who only watch the "big" games. These games were fun to watch.

I only saw the end of the second game while sitting in the airport in Chicago. If the rest of that game was anything like the finish, I missed a great game.

I saw none of the third game. I listened to the last minute on XM radio while Cindy picked me up from the Austin airport. Same comment about that game.

1 for 4 so far. ... and we haven't even got to my underdog picks! ARGH!!!!!

This is why I don't wager high points on most of these early games.

You're not alone Tom...I'm also 1 of 4, and the 1 was my 1 pointer! Tonight is big, though...I have 34 confidence points on the Horned Frogs, and if they lose, I guess I'll be cooked... :?:

    Actually I am 9 0f 12 so far with 159 points.

I thought the standings were auto updated but they have me as being 7 of 12 with 130 points.

    Weird....

I hadn't noticed till this morning...one of AJ's kids (Taylor) is leading the contest as of right now. Stu's kids have done well, Gips grandson did well when he played and now AJ's kids! I'm going to have to go by the local orphanage and get a couple of kids for the contest!! :)

He's 16 and very active Don, so right now it's house and home...

I'd rather buy his wardrobe than his groceries...

I'm taking him to the doctor today....suspicions of tapeworm....

I know he's not bulimic because we budget for extra toilet paper....

Once again we are competing in a contest that is being dominated by someone that can neither vote nor drive... well, maybe a golf ball, but not a car!!! :x
