Final Rankings: 1.) winner BCS 2.) loser BCS ( unless blowout ) 3.) Florida 4.) BSU 5.) OSU Kp.....as you know most of the time you're not finishing at the top so I think for the offseason.....recruiting.....water cooler talk....etc. that it matters
Last year Utah beat Alabama, and finished 2nd, the loser of the BCS game dropped below them. Seems like the two remaining unbeaten teams should be 1-2. Not that it really matters.
Utah had a ton of respect last year after smoking Bama. I'm not sure voters think BSU would beat Fla after the Sugar Bowl results.
I think BSU would have had a shot at beating UF. Not only are they well coached but their staff was not in the wind.
I know it matters to some, but seriously after tonight if we are not #1 then I don't really care whether it's 2, 3, 4,or 5. I know someone said Utah finished 2nd last year and for Utah I am sure they are (and should be) very proud of that, but at least for me it doesn't really matter.
