Kylie Fitts to UCLA. He claimed that his Christian faith would determine where he went, so the 2013 Pastor Bobby Bowden Award goes to the Bruins Jim Mora. I'm sure the religious experience this kid gets in Hollywood will surpass anything he could have gotten at Notre Dame...

    USC recruiting falling apart...

    re: Fitts to UCLA

Moreover, it's another blow to USC's recruiting class, which was the No. 1-ranked group in the country for much of the summer, but has sustained loss after loss since that time. Fitts is one of six players to decommit from USC, joining wide receivers Eldridge Massington and Sebastian LaRue, athlete Max Redfield, defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes and most recently Jason Hatcher, who flipped to Kentucky on Tuesday.

There are also reports that cornerback Jalen Ramsey will flip from USC to Florida State and the Trojans will also fight to hold onto defensive end Torrodney Prevot.

On the other side, the UCLA Bruins are more than happy to scoop up Fitts and add him to a class that could eventually challenge the Trojans for the top group in the Pac-12.

The BGI BB is like Comedy Central. Irish fanatics have been tracking flights of Irish coaches; trying to figure out how to get GPS coordinates of rental cars they suspect may contain Irish coaches, twittering 17 year old prospects, monitoring FaceBook pages of recruits to check on their loyalty and making dramatic pesonal pleas to kids to play in South Bend, using the famed "40 year decision" as their closer.

Every year it get weirder.

With all due respect, and I mean, all due respect, you're full of it KP.

Have you heard me call out Alabama? Have you heard me even mention PEDs at Alabama? Have you heard me call out LSU?

Once again, the quintessential southern response.. shoot the messenger.

I'm far from alone in this. If you quietly just sit back and listen to SEC fans talk, the whispers are growing.

You could address the items I mentioned, or you could just write it off as 'ND homerism'... while ignoring that I've not called out or mentioned anyone else. Choose the latter, it's so popular here. Maybe if we all pray on it, we'll get the answer....

from last night's lampoon article of signing day nonsense.

    http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday...ning-day-predictions-we-heard-from-a-reliable
This joke is everywhere. But whatever, it's an ND thing...... smh..

Anyway, back to the point of recruiting, something I mentioned earlier and during Auburn's investigation is the involvement of Christian organizations as fronts for cash pipelines to players.. Given Freeze's born again reputation, I'm wondering.. I mean, it's not like Memphis doesn't have a reputation for being the shadiest of recruiting areas in the deep South..

I could be wrong, but it walks and talks like a duck right now.

Ole Miss signs the #1 offensive tackle....

    really?

Again, I know to the outsider that this may seem like ND homerism, but this kid was down to Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss...

I don't have a dog in any of these fights. Just making observations. Something stinks in Oxford.

wow.. with these recent rule changes, I just watch this with my jaw in the floor. It's not that I didn't know these things go on, I've known for decades. It's that kids now openly will talk about it. Who is in charge?

Some orgasmic quotes from the Blue-Gold BB over the prospect of getting a signature from a D-Lineman named Eddie Vanderdoes who is down to ND - Bama -UCLA These are classics

"Ok seriously, I'm not going to get any work done. Should have taken the day off but didn't. This is keeping it exciting though which is why I brought my phone charger with me to work. PLEASE be ND!!!"

"Holy $hit. There goes my work productivity today"

"I will fling my poop at people if he chooses ND....just sayin'"

"Wow!!!!!!!! This is why i took today off from work. The final piece to the puzzle. Lets go EV!!!"

Folston still not in for ND, it's driving people nuts. His HS coach says don't worry he's coming.

Also starting to be a rolling sound of thunder coming with regards to Eddie V. ND sites will eriupt if he does in fact send in a LOI!

Edit: it will be nice to not get Leaked on, Bookered, or Granberried (last year's shock the world). Don't want to add Folstoned to the list.

Buckeyes have 25 commits in and a couple of big surprises. Vonn Bell out of Georgia was the big one and Clark WR out of Florida was a surprise as well.

Rivals currently has Ohio State as #1, followed by Alabama, Fla, Notre Dame and LSU.

    Outstanding class for the Buckeyes.

6-10 are Michigan, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, UCLA and Auburn.

Ole Miss is a new comer to recruiting success, even Ed Ogeron didn't have the success that Freeze has had this year. Pretty surprising that Auburn has done so well. USC dropped like a rock out of the top 10.

5* RB Ty Issac of Joilet Catholic is supposedly holding off on sending in his LOI to USC to see how things turn out for USC, given all the defections.

There was an article in the Houston paper about one of Texas A&M's top recruits, Derrick Griffin, local kid. Apparently he's not going to qualify. Kind of a sad story, kid never cared about academics until he started to do well on the football field/Basketball court and by then it was too late. He'll probably end up at Blinn JC, it's close to A&M and they have a good JC football program...Cam Newton went there after he left UF.

Red Flag is for what is going on at ND....Press conference said Vanderdoes name as signed then says it wasn't checked before the news conference. Now this is EV tweets...

Got these grown men trying to mess up what I've been dreaming of since I was little. Stop it with these 'sources' an just wait till 5

    also from rivals:

Strange move by #NotreDame: Now tells @NDatRivals that Vanderdoes was "mistakenly" put on list. Yeah, no one checks these things #RivalsNSD

If this kid changes because of this, then this is totally an embarassment. Hopefully they have his signed LOI in hand or else risk not getting him.

Yeah that's all over the place now, at first it was thought that they actually did have EV's LOI but had agreed not to release it till after his "press conference". Now I'm reading that they don't have the LOI. He's supposedly tweeted that he's a little ticked off that this got out before his press conference. But if he got up this morning wanting to go to ND I seriously doubt this glitch will change anything.
