I think all Harbaugh really has to do is pose for a picture with all of his National Championship rings on. 8)

Harbaugh coached in the Super Bowl. Some coaches just couldn't cut it in the big leagues.

Harbaugh is pulling out all the stops which are legal to put Michigan back to where they were in 2006 when they were #2 going to #1 Ohio State .

Some of my ND Nation brothers who don't like Michigan compiled a list of things he's doing, all legal, to insure he has the talent!

    1. Hired Wayne Lyons Mom....nothing to do with Wayne coming to UM of course!

    2. Hired Rashan Gary's coach and gave scholarships to some of Rashan's posse ...nothing to do with Rashan coming to UM of course!

    3. Reportedly will hire Devin Bush Sr. ...nothing to do with Devin Bush Jr and 2 of his teammates signing with Mich this year.

    4. Also hired Rick Finotti of Lakewood St. Edwards (Ohio) a team that is loaded reportedly with top prospects.

    5. Spring Break at IMG, where he'll be able to showcase his program at a place that is loaded every year with top prospects.

All of the above is completely legal and BTW he's not the first coach to hire somebody connected with a top rated recruit in hopes of aquiring their signature on a LOI in Feb. He is in a hurry to get to the top with UM and he made a ton of progress in year 1 and expectations for year 2 are pretty high. I won't be shocked if he has UM in a Nat'l Champ game sometime in his first 5 years.

But a university employee's task of organizing a family reunion party is now much easier. You just have to send out an office email in the morning telling employees to meet in the conference room at Noon for the party.

And hopefully all of those guys are good FBS level coaches, because he is hiring a bunch of them.

I think you guys are greatly overestimating the reaction of SEC folks.

We really don't care what Harbuagh does...

But... I suggest Bob keep Lloyd very close.

This is the best thread we've had in a while.. everyone tossing in their funny 2 cents. If only we can manage to have thick skin and do this all off-season.

Looks like Harbaugh has set the bar! He has the backing and financial resources available from the University. Heck, by next contract renewal, he will have his own jet.

Don, I see where you had a national terrorist event near you yesterday. I've eaten in that place and 2 of my daughters are within walking distance. Hoe everyone you know is safe.
As to Harbaugh, I wonder what he's like to work with. It's so difficult to win in the NFL and yet the 49ers just couldn't wait to show him the door. Coaches that were a successful as he was are rare indeed.

    Gipper,
Not a whole lot of information on this tragedy, but no fatalities, I read in this morning's paper. the owner is meeting with the employees of the restaurant today. They will then decided to reopen tomorrow or not at all.

All indications are it was a terrorist attack by one individual, who was subsequently shot by police when he tried to attack them with the same machete.

We are about six miles from that location. FBI is investigating, but no real information available to the public at this time.
