I don't get the selectivity reference Tom. I was livid at the time when Meyer had to challenge the play. I don't need the SEC office to tell me that Ford should have called for review himself. One thing that seems to get lost on you and others here is that one bad moment of judgement or bias if you will by a ref is sometimes more than just that one incorrect call. Ford's unability to be forthright and fair in his mind's eye caused UF to lose it's last timeout and that was wrong and it had a ripple effect. On Leak's subsequent game deciding interception he had a wide open man 7-8 yards down the field but chose instead to try a more dangerous throw to Caldwell 25 yards down the field. With UF down by only a point with a little less than 3 minutes to go this was THE game deciding moment. You can only speculate that maybe Leak has more patience knowing he had a time out left.
If you don't, then you don't get it, period. I guess we all are full of beans, and we all should use you as an example of objectivity?
