    If Alabama had hired Croom, I don't think we would have given him enough time to turn things around. He would have had to recover from the sanctions and I don't think he could weather the storm. Having said that if we (Alabama fans) had the patience, he would have been at Alabama for 20 years. I don't think Saban will be around Tuscaloosa for more that 6 or 7 years.

    Thanks for the article Aquila...

    Seems like most takes on the SEC are similar in that the winner of Fla-Ga will be in the thick of the national title race.

    I'm not sure that each could still have two losses in the SEC....it's that tough but I suspect if Florida beats Georgia the Gators could have only one loss.....more so of a chance for that than Georgia has.
