Florida has a long list of walking wounded this week.

Showing his true SEC/ a la Spurrier colors it is lookng like rest on the pine this week of the injured and save them for the SEC Championship game vs. putting marginally healthy guys out there for FSU.

Why jeopardize maximum effort vs. Bama for an SEC title just to butt heads with FSU and then hope to get by Bama....

As to the starting OL. When Mac arrived at Florida we had I believe 4-5 retuning linemen. One of those had an injury in Spring Practice that ended his football career. So we got a graduate transfer from a small elite eastern college, don't remember the name right now, some walk-ons, and some signees and brought the total linemen total to about 17 or 18. Quantity but not quality.

We are starting 2-3 true freshmen and the OL is the weakness of the team.

The defense has been great and not many injuries until recently. Now several of the from 7 are out and last week we had to move an offensive linemen who had been moved from defense back to the defense. I don't believe he was playing that much on OL so you can see the problem there.

And as all of you know we lost our first string QB who was lighting it up for using a banned substance, he is gone through the first 6 games of next season.

I love this coach and am dumbfounded we got to 10-1, but our likely hood of beating Bama is about one tenth of one percent.

We have a better chance against FSU and are even a point or so favorite but I think it's going to be very difficult.

However no matter what happens in the next 2 games and the bowl game the Gators have exceeded all expectations this year and should be much better going forward.

yeah I would have figured the Gators for a 7-5 year this year, to be where they are right now with some of the challenges that you've faced is really great and the future looks very good. Of course Muschamp was 12-1 in his first year wasn't he?

Muschump was 7-5 I believe or 6-6 his first year and then 11-2 his second with an embarassing bowl loss.

I agree 110% that a Citrus Bowl berth with a 10-3 record and then possibly winning the bowl game would be a great ... great year.

The bowl game will be nasty though.... against either Michigan, MSU or Ohio State. Of those UF has fared well against only Ohio State.

Congratulations Aalabama on another SEC Championship.

Complete mismatch next week with the way Treon Harris has regressed and diminished in his limited skills.

    MCG,
Alabama did not play its best game yesterday. Too many points left in the red zone, but a 2 touchdown win over Auburn is a keeper every time. I don't think we had any new injuries and we may get Kenyan Drake back so hopefully we can prepare for Florida.

You obviously don't know much about us right now.....

Like a Florida scribe has written.... next week we get the better version of the team that dominated us last night.

Kinda of embarassed now that we are the team that will make next Saturday boring to watch. My apologies in advance.

What's the spread Bama minus 28?

All you need to know about our chances vs. Alabama is summed up below in a synopsis of Treon Harris's play last night:

"He was inaccurate and indecisive for the fourth consecutive week. Starting his 12th game and sixth straight since Will Grier was suspended for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs, Harris missed wide-open receivers all over the field, held the ball too long and played with the awareness of a freshman."

It is especially frustrating that he does indeed miss wide open receivers all over the place as he did last night. Makes you understand just how different that game last night with FSU could have been with Will Grier or even just about any decent Qb back there.

Will Demarcus Robinson be back for the SECCG? What's the story with him, this is his 4th suspension or something like that for unspecified violation of team rules. Does he have a weed habit? I thought there were rules regarding failing test for weed, each time you get stiffer punishment.

I don't really know the inside scoop on Robinson.

To be so repetitively caught does suggest weed use.....

Wonder how they view that use or how often it's tested for in Colorado and Washington?

The coach is letting the Seniors decide if Demarcus Robinson will be allowed back on the Gators for the SEC Champ Game.

Kind of weird, you'd think that unless they hate the guy, that likely they'll let him play.

MCG...still no rumors as to what he's done?

    Haven't seen anything yet.

Maybe he broke rules that the other team members must abide by so that's why they decide....

I only hope that Saban feels compassionate.

I'm hoping for a couple of special teams/defensive scores for UF and a defensive intensity that never lets up the entire game unlike the last 6 minutes vs. FSU.

23-13 Bama in this one ( missed extra point for UF plus 5 missed field goals!!!!!  )

That wasn't the first half I expected, that's for sure. 12-7.

With the Fla offense being pretty ineffective, it was the Gator defense that has kept this game close. I have not watched a single Fla game this year and I had no idea how fast and relentless they were. If ND had that defense we'd have gone 14-0 and won the National Championship.

Everyone else called this a mismatch. Not me. The Alabama defense has been awesome, and I think if Alabama will run first (i.e. Derek Henry) and throw when Florida loads the box we will pull away. If we don't use one of the best running backs in the country, we could be in trouble. :x

Big plays by Alabama... Both times FL dbs were right there but the Bama WR just made the great play.

Well now a pick and I think that's all she wrote for the Gators. They just don't have a bad offense it's hard to put into words how bad they are, now you have to give Ala credit they are damn good on defense... But how did they win 10 games with that offense, must be discouraging to be on the defense.

I have to give Coker a lot of credit, he might never have much or any NFL career, but he's a solid college Qb plays tough can make throws. Doesn't make many mistakes.

    Getting a little chippy.
