I'm fine AJ, with the world, with you with our new dog etc. Pretty insightful statement about what might Papa Martin have thought a few years ago. I agree with you about the new generation to a pretty good degree. However I also think we have to let them find their way. Not on their own totally but with guidance from family, friends and of course the football players from their schools and coaches. I do think however that we need to be aware of the background many of these players come from and becoming productive citizens can be a hard path, not only for them but a lot of us. Nice about Nebraska being picked to win the NC. I think however that your route got a bit tougher when the Huskers announced they are going to the Big 10. Nebraska is going to have a big target on their back. If you do make it all the way it will be a well earned championship.
Take a look at the BR's top 5 games for the coming season. I can certainly see how NU-Tex is a huge game with national title implications but the top game of the season they list doesn't even stir up interest in the home state of the #1 ranked team to be:  8) http://bleacherreport.com/articles/419589-supersized-showdowns-the-five-biggest-games-of-2010-in-college-football
Texas plays 2 of the top 5 games this year....of course this is just that writers opinion. And the fans dispute the writers claim that UF/UA is #1, they vote Tex/Neb #1.
Big games are in the eyes of the beholders. Personally I don't put a lot of stock in Bleacher Reports. I hope to watch both those games.
I do see that the fans so far who have voted have UF-Bama as the number two game of the season but NU-Tex and Bama-UF are way out in front of the other three. I agree both games will have serious title implications as do the other three but if NU squeezes past Texas and/or UF gets past Bama or vice versa they both still have serious work to do probably much more so than Boise or OSU if they get past their big games listed.
