4 #1's made it to the Womens Final Four in Denver...Baylor,ND,UConn, Stanford. Conventional wisdom is that it's Baylors to lose, a 6'7" women with skills is a lot like having Wilt Chamberlain. Irish play UConn, Baylors plays Stanford.
Thanks, I have Ohio State and Kentucky in the finals with Kentucky coming out on top. That Kentucky team is something else. The only way I could see them losing is their youth being overcome by more older more experience or one of the teams they play have an unbelievable shooting night.
Probably all the starters and maybe one bench guy. That's the way Calipari is recruiting and what he is selling. One and done and on to the NBA. It's hard to believe Anthony Davis was playing high school ball last year.
Tough loss for the Buckeyes. I thought they were going to run Kansas out of the building early on then it settled into a very good game. That lane violation is now the 3rd time it's happened in the last few seconds of a game (happened to ND and in a Syracuse game). Kentucky looks pretty unbeatable though, of course with Calapari as the coach he'll have to vacate the title in a few years when they uncover all the academic fraud that he's famous for.
 The Buckeyes faded in the final minutes. Too bad. They were the better team. This sets up a classic "David vs. Goliath" battle. Kentucky's roster contains more McDonald's All-Americans than any other team, while Kansas was the only team in the Final Four with zero high school All-Americans. This looks like a job for Norman Dale... <object><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CDJS9rFGCHE?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CDJS9rFGCHE?version=3&feature=player_detailpage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object> <object><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9Cdc13CU9Fc?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9Cdc13CU9Fc?version=3&feature=player_detailpage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object> Rock Chalk Jay Hawk...KU...KU...
Ohio State palyed a great first half and made Kansas look bad with a high number of turnovers. The Jayhawks returned the favor in the second half and we played bad, lost our discpline and hurried shots. The game could have goine either way down the stretch, but Kansas was just more aggresive and created matchup problems for us. It was a great ride while it lasted.
Wow, the way the first 15 minutes of the game went I thought Kansas looked like a high school team. Then they woke up cut the deficit to 9 by halftime and won in the second half. How many games this year did a team have a double digit lead and either lose or have it end up an exciting game? Quite a few I think.
Looks like Michael Ryckman will be the winner, with Bill finishing #2 and Stu at #3. It appears that Jermey Ryckman will be mocked for awhile at Ryckman functions finishing last amongst the clan!
