HOLY COW!!!!! Results MAY be a bit premature, but I couldn't wait until the end of the AF game (up by 28 pts, 15:00 left) to pass this on.

    Corey:

Care to speculate on when was the last time (if ever) that both Penn State and Notre Dame went into October winless? Throw in Flordia State getting pimp slapped by anopther ACC team and Fresno State kicking everybody's arse and we have an interesting season.

    <H1>WHAT!<H1>

Kes picked 14 teams?...that's even more astounding than Wendy who's shown a propensity towards making good picks since the contest started!!!

    Tod,

Considering that ND has never started 0-3 before in the history of the program, I'm going to say that NEVER is a safe bet...

What is the world coming to?? Is Virginia going to win the ACC behind Al Groh? [IMG] I watched the Clemson-GTech game last night and neither of those teams are top10 caliber. GTech has the worst DBs I've seen on a "top 10" defense in a while..

Could it be a Fresno State, UCLA, Florida, Miami unbeaten logjam at season's end?? [IMG] I doubt it but it would be fun to see how that would work out..

Holy kajeebers! I finally found the secret! Instead of wasting all that time researching and stressing like last year, I did away with logic and common sense and just picked who I'd like to see win. Course that strategy has kept me squarely at the bottom of the standings until now, so I wouldn't bet the farm on that method.

Hmm, thinking back, once Florida was obviously in control, I wanted to go over 50 and I wanted a shutout. Got 'em. Then I wanted Clemson to win the OT, got it. Dang nabbit, why didn't I buy a lotto ticket on the way home?!

Well, isn't this a good one to have pop back on top! :D

I used that same pick'em method on the bowls this year and I was right at the bottom of the standings until the Texas win. I guess that approach only works once.

:p I think I'll print this topic and keep it with my '00 and '05 trophies!
