NSD announcement schedule: http://www.maxpreps.com/news/_FBhAeo40UmnZ8FLezchRg/2015-national-signing-day-announcement-schedule-for-top-uncommitted-recruits.htm Florida is a finalist for 10 of these top players announcing on NSD. If we landed 4 that would be pretty awesome.
Terry, LSU, just hired after the departure of Chavis. Sid, You're welcome. I always appreciate efforts toward windows into the lives of the kids and the process more than I do 'sizzle pieces' from the analysts.
Long but very interesting article Corey. The more talented a recruit, the more hectic his last two years of high school is. The HS coach can be a big help to these kids.
Bad news for Terry and his Austin buddies: Kyler Murray reaffirms his commitment to A&M. Does this mean all the other guys follow? I'm just glad to know we'll have two scholarship QBs!
@#$%%@~!!!! Freakin' 18 y/o!!! Sat Charlie has an in home visit with FSU commit Kai Locksley, he's our last chance at QB for this class. DeMarkus is likely not to come now as well. However SoSo Jamabo, who at one point ND people were thinking was a good bet to come, and Chris Warren are supposed to commit this weekend...key word is supposed.
Our inside guys think we've flipped RB Kendall Bussey from UT. Not announced so i guess we'll see on Wed...
These vids got worn out for a while... but this one was too good not to put up. Really funny to those of us here in Texas. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mK910AwAYd4?rel=0&controls=0" frameborder="0"></iframe>
That is pretty funny. I do however look forward to the Astro's making Kyler a high draft choice this year and offering him a pot of gold to sign!!
Finally all this nonsense ends tomorrow. Looks like a few schools have a shot to dethrone Bama this year. Good luck to all your programs - unless you are after an Aggie target.

Scott, I'm not sure what "throne" you are referring to. Ohio State has already dethroned us for this year. The contest for the only "throne" that Bama cares about starts over next August.
Florida has come alive the last several days. We were stuck at about 9 recruits and now have 16. One of them is likely to recommit and go to LSU, but we are in the running for a number of highly ranked recruits. I am very high on our new coach and see better days ahead for the Gators. Guess we will know how all our teams did by this time tomorrow night.
I see that Dee Liner has been released from his scholarship at Alabama and will transfer. He was a top flight recruit at one point in time. If he sits out next year, he'd have 2 years left to play. http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/index.ssf/2015/02/dee_liner_transfer_alabama.html
Yeah, I guess he didn't want to wait it out. It must be difficult, I'm sure this is the first time these guys have ever been on the bench.
heck, you guys are so deep that he might not have seen the field! That's always the tough call. There are positions that seem so deep but 2 or 3 injuries leave you scrambling. The kid played his freshman year because they lacked depth due to injuries... I wonder where he'll wind up. He was released and they didn't mention any conference restriction, but I always assume that's implied.
That's a strength of Saban's process at Alabama, he has always brought in the top class in the country every year except one, and that year they were #5. But even though Nick is a terrific coach, he can't be right all the time and he can't satisfy every kids want/need/desire to be a starter. So if kids move on or don't live up to the hype then he's got new kids coming in that can take their place. That's how you stay on top, you always have talent in the pipeline.
Missouri lands the #1 DT? He's got to be the 3rd #1 DT I've seen mentioned today. Either way, how good of a coach is Pinkel? The SEC network is basically mocking their previous recruiting efforts, but they've won back to back SEC East titles.. and now they're starting to get 5 star DL guys.. interesting.
Top spenders in report on USA Today....Auburn at 1.38M and Tenn at 1.29M, Alabama spend .98M, Neb .81M, OU at .83M to round out the top 5. Those were significantly more $$ than the average school. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/recruiting/2015/02/03/college-football-recruiting-signing-day-sec-power-conferences/22813887/
Here's an interesting fact which IMO conveys a twofold message: 1) Some 3-star recruits are going to rise to greatness, and 2) Don't get too excited about signees until they prove themselves in full-out competition.
