It's the Astros Doc....you'll trade them away in a few years anyway......2 Million?.....FredBird feed.....AND who says who they have to Draft?....you guys might end up with a couple of 1 legged pinch runners.
Hey AJ, what do you think of Bo Pelini's son walking on at ND (football)? I've been meaning to ask you, how do you like my avatar?
How in the hell did Colorado not sign a guy with a name like this? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/ct-kobe-buffalomeat-illinois-state-20170201-story.html
Remember reading about a HS player from Kansas with the same surname who was of Native American ancestry. Family told him that surname was an integral part of his ancestry and should be held with pride. Player said he was teased frequently about his name when he was very young but was now quite proud of his surname. Kobe is 6'7'' and 270 so my guess is that the face-to-face teasing for him ended after his adolescent growth spurt.
Well this is one kid that Mich State won't be getting a LOI from today. He's in Jail! http://usatodayhss.com/2017/michigan-state-commit-donovan-winter-wont-sign-wednesday-because-hes-in-jail
ND <t>Well looks like we finished on a good note on signing day, especially on defense. 247 Sports has ND as the 11th ranked class(if you buy into the class ranking stuff) so all things considered, a good not great class. Biggest need still at CB. The Irish appear to have finished ahead of teams like, T A&M, Miami, Penn ST., Stanford, Clemson, Tenn Etc. Coming off a 4-8 season it's a little solice. Obviously, you start thinking what a even 9 win season would have produced. Maybe a top 5, definately top 10. It is what it is though. <br/> <br/> As you mentioned Terry, we have talent on hand now. We should have a 9 or 10 win season this year. We have what most would consider a much better staff now. Kelly needs to get his act together or it's his last season. As much as I was calling for his head mid-season, I'm hoping things go right this coming season. I do not want to see a HC change as it sets you back another 3 yrs on evereything. I beleive that Kelly can do this, he's shown glimpses but.....we'll see, we'll see.</t>
Gators jumped up in the 247 composite as well, they are right ahead of ND at #10. USC jumped up a few spots as well. I'm a little surprised that the Irish right now are ahead of Texas A&M to tell you the truth. These aren't the final rankings as there will be some more kids who send in their faxes later today esp the west coast kids. So there could still be soem movement.
Back in the BuckeyTerry days he would routinely complain about oversigning in the SEC. I think he said the B1G had rules in place that prevented it. So how was Michigan able to sign 30 players?
Signing 30 = oversigning? M lost a lot via graduation and had several transfers. Don't think H went over the limit. Do you have a link that states otherwise?
No it's not over the NCAA limit that's for sure. Nobody, even Saban can get around that you can't have more than 85. But BuckT posted a lot about how SEC schools signed significantly more players every year than B1G schools and that it gave the SEC an advantage. I believe he used to say that B1G rules limited the class size every year to 25 with a few exceptions, which with UM at 30 would seem to fit BuckT's definition of oversigning by B1G rules. I don't know those rules.
Oh come on Bobda we all know secretly that Lloyd is a Harbaugh plant and the mastermind behind this, sneaky sucker....
The SEC is always cheating and everyone else has a good explanation. I remember a very difficult discussion about tattoos.
Kinda funny.... http://www.espn.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/141140/urban-meyer-had-last-laugh-in-prank-war-with-recruit-baron-browning
