But Romney could not for whatever reason distance himself from the far right and it cost him this election.

Not "Dave" ********...did you read the article?

It cost him in moderate middle class voters, women, young people and normally conservative Latinos.

This group DOES NOT embrace the far right....period..

Wait a minute Dave. I didn't see this in any Democratic commercials. I saw that Romney at one time led Bain Capital. I saw he sent jobs overseas. I saw he was responsible for a woman dying of cancer.
I heard a White House spokesperson claim that he hadn't filed income taxes and could be a felon. I read where in high school he cut some other student's hair. I didn't hear he was a right wing extremist.
I hear him talk about "reaching across the aisle" to work with Democrats. (that by the way is a moderate.)
So I'm supposed to take that article as somehow rooted in fact? Unlike you, I don't want to blame every problem in this country on "the radical right."

There are several definitions of the word Radical. I fit three of those as do most Republicans and so should everyone at this time:

    1) of or going to the root or origin; fundamental

    2) favoring drastic political, economic, or social reforms

    3) forming a basis or foundation

    re young people

51% of white young people (18-19) voted for Romney The non-white young fell for the lie that Romney was going to "deport all the immigrants." That's what my students and their parents believe.

Most men voted for Romney and nearly all white men voted for Romney. Eleven percent more women voted for Obama and that was a difference maker, but when you unwrap the numbers you see that most married women and working women voted for Romney. Obama's advantage was a huge victory among unmarried women, especially unmarried, young women...
