Obama Campaign Attacks Gallup’s Polling Methodology Again… Gallup already changed its polling methodology on Obama’s approval rating after Axelrod attacked them, interesting to see if they do it again. Via Beltway Confidential: President Obama’s campaign once again attacked the methodology of Gallup just days after the polling group adjusted their methodology in a way that benefited the president. This time, the criticism came this time from the Obama pollster who mocked the Romney team for debating about the reliability of polls. After Gallup/USA Today released a poll showing Mitt Romney tied with Obama among likely female voters in swing states, Obama pollster Joel Benenson pointed to “deep flaws in Gallup’s likely voter screen” and dismissed the survey as an “extreme outlier.” David Axelrod, Obama’s top campaign strategist, made a similar argument earlier this year. “Gallup is saddled with some methodological problems,” Axelrod tweeted in April, when showed Romney with a five-point lead over the president after trailing throughout March.
New WSJ/NBC Poll Taken After Second Debate Shows Romney Erasing 3-Point Deficit To Tie Obama… First time Romney has pulled even in this poll. Via The Hill: A new poll shows a strong late surge in support for GOP candidate Mitt Romney, bringing him to a tie with President Obama, with a little over two weeks until election day. The latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released Sunday shows the two candidates in a 47-47 tie among likely voters nationwide, in a poll conducted entirely after last Tuesday’s second presidential debate. Obama, though, retains an edge among registered voters, with 49 percent support to 44. The numbers mark the first time Romney has pulled even with the president in the poll. In the last poll taken before the first of the three presidential debates, Obama held a 49 to 46 advantage over his GOP challenger among likely voters.
I will not side with him on most issues but I commend this Democrat for his actions here! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/X0RZIrZT0Uc" frameborder="0"></iframe>
YOU'RE PROBABLY NOT INTERESTED IN USED FARM EQUIPMENT, BUT YOU MIGHT ENJOY THIS AD TAKEN FROM CRAIG'S LIST. FIFTY YEAR OLD MANURE SPREADER - $1 (WASHINGTON, DC ) Fifty-year old manure spreader. Not sure of brand. Said to have been produced in Kenya. Used for a few years in Indonesia before being smuggled into the US via Hawaii. Of questionable pedigree. Does not appear to have ever been worked hard. Apparently, it was pampered by various owners over the years. It doesn't work very often, but when it does it can sling **** for amazing distances. I am hoping to retire the manure spreader this November. I really don't want it hanging around getting in the way. I would prefer a foreign buyer to relocate the manure spreader out of the country. I would be willing to trade it for a nicely framed copy of the United States Constitution. Location: Currently being stored in a big white house in Washington, D.C. Caution: Just a caveat..... the manure spreader, if stored with other implements and tools, may try to organize them into non-workers to the detriment of those that have actually been working....
This President is positively Carter-esque. At the same time, most people I know who are truly on the fence just can't trust Romney. Mitt's biggest problem is Mitt. Obama is there for the taking.

Not gonna get into an argument about it...but I don't see it. I think Mitt's biggest problem is the false Mitt being created by the Democratic machine and people's astounding ability to buy into it without taking any kind of honest look at the man.

Romney Jumps To 3-Point Lead In New WaPo/ABC Tracking Poll… Do you believe? Via WaPo: Republican Mitt Romney has edged ahead of President Obama in the new Washington Post-ABC News national tracking poll, with the challenger winning 50 percent of likely voters for the first time in the campaign. As Romney hits 50, the president stands at 47 percent, his lowest tally in Post-ABC polling since before the national party conventions. A three-point edge gives Romney his first apparent advantage in the national popular vote, but it is not one that is statistically significant with a conventional level of 95 percent confidence. Results from the tracking poll were first released Monday evening, and had Obama at 49 percent, and Romney at 48. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the results were flipped, with Romney at 49 and the president at 48. All of the results are among likely voters. However, Romney does now boast a statistically — and substantively — important lead on the economy, which has long been the central issue of the race. When it comes to handling the nation’s struggling economy, 52 percent of likely voters say they trust Romney more, while 43 percent say they have more faith in the president.

Huge: Des Moines Register Endorses Mitt Romney… First time they have endorsed a Republican for president since 1972. The Register endorsement: Mitt Romney offers a fresh economic vision — Des Moines Register Ten months ago this newspaper endorsed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination for president. An overarching consideration was which of the party’s candidates could we see occupying the White House, and there was no question that Romney was qualified for the job. Now, in the closing days of the general election campaign, the question is which of the two contenders deserves to be the next president of the United States. Both President Barack Obama and Governor Romney are superbly qualified. Both are graduates of the Harvard University Law School who have distinguished themselves in government, in public service and in private life. Both are devoted husbands and fathers. American voters are deeply divided about this race. The Register’s editorial board, as it should, had a vigorous debate over this endorsement. Our discussion repeatedly circled back to the nation’s single most important challenge: pulling the economy out of the doldrums, getting more Americans back in the workforce in meaningful jobs with promising futures, and getting the federal government on a track to balance the budget in a bipartisan manner that the country demands. Which candidate could forge the compromises in Congress to achieve these goals? When the question is framed in those terms, Mitt Romney emerges the stronger candidate. The former governor and business executive has a strong record of achievement in both the private and the public sectors. He was an accomplished governor in a liberal state. He founded and ran a successful business that turned around failing companies. He successfully managed the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Romney has made rebuilding the economy his No. 1 campaign priority — and rightly so.
