How sad...never had any run-ins with Tod, but he rankled me at times. He sure seemed to hate all things Columbus...was a good part of our online community.

Tod didn't like South Bend either.

Gip, you just reminded me that I did have a minor skirmish with Tod over his depiction of Notre Dame and/or South Bend. I can't recall the specifics. I just remember that I disagreed with him about something he said. I guessed in a way he touched all of us at one time or another.

Tod had a run in with a overexhuberant ND fan at a bar called the Linebacker in South Bend. It was one of those things that was brought up during one of those wars that used to go on over on Prodigy. Over time most of us saw a different side of Tod.

That's it. I knew it had something to do with the Linebacker, but I could not recall the specifics. Good memory, Terry.

Damn Terry! You do have a good memory. I'd forgotten that one about how his PSU jacket got ripped while in the Linebacker.

Het TT in your closing ditty there is that "light" you're talking about for the gangbanger the light from your laser sight?

    RIP

Tod was a crusty old fella who hated Jif and I and mostly another poster who lives in Michigan as a barrister.
I still remember two events; one an electronic duel challenge he had with the barrister and another time when Jif and I called his radio show and caught him completely offguard.
He knew PSU athletics and JoePa

JIF, I really couldn't understand why someone would be upset with you... such an open minded individual.

Not going to rehash Gonzo. Ask him or simply read through the last few months.
