    At age 96. I didn't realize he was still alive. I recall as a kid and teenager listening to his calypso-style music and liking it. I must be really old. :rolleyes:

    He, Nat King Cole, and the lesser known Johnny Hartman were blessed by the Gods with golden vocal cords. Later musical eras have not been able to reproduce the intimate, sophisticated nightclub sound of the 1950s and early 60s. Music before my time but the best of that era produced some great, magical music.
