Wow! That's impressive. I'm going to try to get over there for a game sometime during the next couple of seasons.
Look's like it'd be in the Flood plain for the Mississippi river. I'm sure it'll be a great place to play ball!
WooHooo!! That's coming up quick! Drat, can't go - I have a work thing the next day. Doesn't matter, there will still be snow on the ground anyway... Almost saw the Cardinals for a Spring Training game last weekend. You know they invade my home town of Jupiter each year. But it worked out the Marlins/Yankees day fit better than the Cardinals/Braves day. Sorry. If we had gone to the Cardinals game, I could at least have gotten to wear my Cubs shirt. But as it was I just stuck with a Gator shirt. (Didja see the pix in my Perfect Day post on the other board?)
I drove by the stadium two weeks ago and she's looking good. And secondly, it's a good thing you can't go to the game the cubs are going to get thier butts handed to them. I wouldn't want you to witness an embarrasment like the cubs are about to get.
Great idea, AJ. I would want to bring my son-in-law, his dad, and my two oldest grandsons. We three adults are all baseball junkies. We took the two boys to a Reds game in Cincy last year, and they got Sean Casey's autograph....before he got shipped to the Pirates. St. Louis is about 4 hrs from Indy, all interstate. We'd make it an overnighter. It would be an honor to have one of America's finest join us. I may give it a try this summer. I'll check on ticket availability and see how it works out. I'll keep you posted.
I was in STL on sunday and I have to say the stadium is looking great!! And doc if you meet at a truck stop beware of the lot lizards!!
