Former Buckeyes have a tremendous effect on the games played yesterday. Roby intercepted Brady on the two point conversion! Ted Ginn finished with two receptions and 52 yards, including a ridiculous 22-yard reverse he took to paydirt. Corey Brown scored on an 86-yard touchdown reception. Kurt Coleman intercepted Carson Palmer twice (and then shifted into Hulk mode). The formerly undrafted (lol) Andrew Norwell moved more Cardinals than an impending winter.
Since 2006 Patriots 0-3 in road playoff games. Fortunately for them they have a pathetic schedule playing the Jets, Bills and Fins twice a year. (pro version of service academies?) It's not hard to get home field advantage in the playoffs if your division gives you a 6-0 head start. Re: yesterday's game Brady looked pretty inaccurate throwing the ball. They must have been fully inflated.
I have said before this season that with Peyton I have let Tenn-UF bygones be bygones and I'm all for the guy finishing in a blaze of glory. Cam or Peyton? Give me Peyton all day!
Ted Ginn has resurrected his career, he was a bust and now he's not. Peyton is going to have to hope the Denver defense can stop the Panthers and make it a game like the Patriots game. Peyton is just not the QB that he once was, he's more of a game manager now.
I really feel that this is PM's last go round. Oh... he may stick around another year or two but I think this is his last spotlight. I hope he makes the best of it.
