I think Bobda said the Brewers were really hurting at the end of the season with injuries, while the Nationals finished strong winning 9 out of their last 10. Have to go with the Hot team.

In the AL, I think the A's and the Ray's are pretty evenly matched so I'll go with the home team.

I would normally rule the Brewers out, but against all odds, they got red hot to close out the year and nab a playoff spot without their best player. Still, I do like Nationals' pitching staff in a one game take all scenario.

The A's are hard to bet against.

It will be interesting to see what A J Hinch does with Wade Miley. He has been abysmal in Sept. He has an era of 16 something and opposing players have hit .471 against him. I think only one of his starts did he get out of the 1st inning. He was solid up till September. I don't know what happened, nobody is suggesting a hidden injury. But I don't think you can trust him. We have a kid name Jose Urquidy who has been much better in Sept, but only had 4 appearances in Sept 2 starts and 2 relief appearances. His Sept stats are much better than Miley, not that it's hard to do with Wades numbers.

well the Brew crew comes out hotter than a popcorn fart and hit 2 bombs in the 1st 2 innings. This may be a slugfest.

Brewers overcame a lot of adversity to make the wild card but painful way to end the season. Time to root for the Cards and Rays. And now a monsoon rainstorm is moving through SE Wisconsin. The Gods are really sticking it to us tonight.

I was watching the whole time. A lot is being made of the error, but that's overlooking the HBP, the duck fart single and the walk which were all on Hader. On top of that, on the base hit, he missed middle up. Hader was just a disaster that last inning.

    Postseason baseball is the best

Somewhere...out there...Bill Buckner is smiling. That poor kid in RF was a rookie and he was the replacement for Yelich. Baseball is the cruelest game...
