Yes. I understand Dabo’s point and give him credit for saying what he believes but it is not a great idea to provide a dangerous opponent that sort of rage inspiring bulletin board material.
I still don't understand why it is.dangerous for a defender to use.the crown of his helmet but it is not dangerous for a running back to do the same thing?
After watching the Big 10 Championship game I really thought they were not a good match for Clemson. I was really wrong, they look really great so far tonight.
Fields is definitely hurting. The way he gingerly ran off the field at the half suggests some sort of upper torso/back/rib pain. Day’s offense in the second half will be limited because of this.
With the way the Buckeyes are playing defense and Sermon running the ball they might not need much from him.
If you lead with crown of helmet, it's targeting no matter where you hit. kp may have a good point on why it doesn't go both ways...
One thing I don't understand is why they changed the rule that allows players ejected to stay on the bench. I can't think of another team sport where ejected players can remain on the bench.
OSU finally makes a mistake, a score there and it was lights out on Clemson. Still a tall order for them to climb back into the game
Using Fields as a runner is a big part of OSU’s offense, especially in the red zone. In the first series, no QB runs.
I would have never expected this. Not that Ohio State couldn't win but 35 points in the first half? Think Dabo only ranking OSU at #11 could be an incentive? Clemson intercepts Fields in the end zone early 3rd quarter. Let's see if they can move the ball?
Good drive by Clemson, but they are going to have to slow down the Buckeyes on offense. They got that pick but before that they were backing up on defense and it looked like OSU was going up 42 - 14. They have to force some punts.
