No doubt that is true!! But this team has gotten better and better as the season progressed. They still make too many errors and can blow big leads. But for a team to start 4 freshman and be as good as they are it pretty impressive.
Thanks T! I fully expect you guys to have your ticket punched to the Elite 8 with very little resistance. I just hope we can get past the Louisville home game in Lexington. I have no idea how the Committee allowed that to happen, when they always say they protect the top seeds from hostile venues for the first two rounds...
Scott, you got that right....the committee did you no favors....L'ville will be no pushover in Rupp. As for our kids, they are playing well at the right time, but they are babies and babies can do crazy things. They could go on a helluva run or they could step on their crank early.....we'll see.
MCG...we have letdowns...the team is getting better but Oden is still learning and I think he's still working on getting use of his dominant hand back. We have a boatload of guys who can shoot the three, but it seems that they all go cold at once. That said, I like this team better and better as they gain experience in playing together.
Stu, I've got Purdue as the first round winner, I hope your Boilers don't let me down! Scott, I just couldn't pick A&M over Louisville, they played very well down the stretch in the Big East. Add the home court advanatage and I see them pulling the big upset. Terry
I'd sorta enjoy a Louisville - UF final. BTW, anyone think the South seeding which resulted in Louisville and Stanford .... Cardinals and Cardinal ..... playing in round 1 was purely random?
I sure hope so. I'd hate to think that any of the pairings were based on the similarity of team nicknames. I must say, however, that nothing would surprise me.
Louisville looked REAL good.....what a break they got playing at Rupp! Scott, those Ags better bring their A game....
