    Watching the crowds in State College and while no violence, or certainly not much, so far...but I have to wonder about the wisdom of playing that Neb/PSU game on Saturday. Lot's of potential for problems IMHO. I'm not sure what they can do at this late date but it is a huge risk to play that game.

    Obviously had to be done.

    As a football fan the last several months have been very depressing. But I don't see how anything tops this.

    I have to agree with Terry in wondering about the wisdom of playing this Sat.

    Not a great time to feel good about college sports.

    Terry, I think playing the game Saturday might prove to be good for all concserned. Time to move on and start the healing process. At least that is my hopeful opinion.

    There is no question imo that the Board was absolutely correct in taking this action. It is still very, very sad for all involved.
