    It was the Tides day today. I take back all the things I said about Greg McElroy, he had a great game today. But it was as expected the Bama defense that set the tone for the game.

    Congrats to the Tide Fans

    Bama made a great Florida team look average. This is not a dig on Florida but respect being shown to a determined Bama team.

    Congrats and make the SEC proud in the championship game.

    I suspect the UF defense allowed for too much distraction by the Dunlap thing and I really hope Strong's heart was in it coaching wise but I have some doubts about that unfortunately.

    MCG, I have no idea why you would think Strong's heart wasn't in it. He has done way to much for us for that kind of comment.

    Let's face some facts, Bama was the better team this time, Dunlap wouldn't have made 19 points difference and Strong is a professional through and through.

    Crap happens, tonight it happened to us.

    I might say the same thing to you I said to some Gator fans on GatorCountry. Over the last two years we are 25 - 2 with an SEC Championship, played in another and a National Championship.

    Just who in that time frame has done better?

    We lost to a better team tonight, congratulate them and move on.

    And think what this group of young men have brought us the last two years and how they might feel right now.

    Obviously, I am a happy camper. It all came together for Alabama last night. Great defense and a steady offense. Our kick coverage was even better last night than it has been all year. Tebow leaves a great legacy and one game does not deminish that at all. Truly one of the greatest college players.
