    I say we give Gonzo a "check-hike"...in kid's street football that's a do-over...a second chance. His list sucks...

    1. Oklahoma lost...
    2. Florida lost...
    3. Texas lost...
    4. Oregon lost...
    5. Clemson lost...
    6. Michigan State lost...

    and some of the others, like LSU and even USC didn't look so "great" either. The Trojans had 15 penalties, for example, and couldn't even run out the clock without having a punt blocked and giving up a cheap score.

    One point where I DO agree with Gonz, however, is that there are a lot of teams out there right now paying a terrible price for having played a Mickey Mouse non-con schedule...

    I had said that after Okla at first.....LSU at second and USC at third....I didn't feel comfortable with anyone else but Terry O' forced me to pick a longer list with my caveat of uneasiness

    Cal barely won, as USC and Wisconsin

    Then we have Rutgers, Oregon, Clemson, Penn State and ....ALABAMA....hmmm NIck Saban an instant saviour's days are over already.

    LSU at home vs Tebow's Florida will be a great game next week.....the problem UF has is its weak secondary that almost lost vs Miss but Tebow may recover and lead the team to a win vs LSU too.

    'Cal barely won'

    <t>what crap. They were playing Oregon in Autzen where they hadn't won in a long time.<br/>
    <br/>
    I knew you'd use that opportunity of two unbeatens playing in the game of the day to try to drag one, or both, down.<br/>
    <br/>
    Nice call on your clear #1 though.</t>

    :shock: Whoever plays Colorado at Colorado's mile-high if fighting ozygen-starvation that eats you up starting in the third quarter and cripples you in the fourth.

    Thats exactly why Oklahoma lost......it was very close and I expect them to stay at the top and perhaps play LSU for the NC....we'll see how they do vs Texas next week

    well

    <t>If that kid from Oklahoma catches the punt, they most likely win. I'm not sure if it was the lack of oxygen that blinded him and kept him from catching it.... but if he fields that, game over.</t>

    Well it looks like we can forget Miami's return to the top 25. They lost to North Carolin who had only won one game.

    That's a bad loss to UNC.

    Well.....guess Florida will not go to an NC.....may lose some more....too bad...they got the best QB I have ever seen in since Vince Young

    Miami will be fine.....learning curves for a young team.....and they almost won anyway

    Well, am I good or what???.....how many of the above list are still where they were in the top 25 ????....I would say most of them have dropped considerably and the next two weeks a great deal of them will be even further down the list

    I'm good....real good

    :eek: 8) :D The question this season is WHO THE HELL IS ANY GOOD????

    Here we are in the sixth week and we got turmoil galore in the Top 25....not only was I right......I was woefully understating the tumultous turbulence that has hit college football this season.

    Can Kentucky be the class of the SEC....can South Florida be so real that they go to an NC championship game?....as I write this Cal is losing too.

    This is the zaniest, most beserk year I have ever seen.
