Bobda,

for some reason, your pics don't show up....I'm sure they are classic, I need to see them.

As for the Blue Jackets, consider a scenario where historical roots meet political correctness meet an advertising agency.

Krebsie's Blue Jacket reference begins the story as he was a leader in defending the Ohio country from the encroaching settlement....wrap that with a "Blue Jacket" reference for Union troops during the Civil War - one in which the Ohio leadership dominated the proceedings - a trait that continues to the present day battlefield of gridiron warfare! Cut then to meaningful concerns from the lefties that the prospect of a Shawnee chieftain, wearing battle dress and wrapped in General's stars ala Grant and Sherman could give rise to meaningful b!tching about the plight of our native Americans from the p/c crowd......add an advertising agency responsible for a media campaign and you have a silly little hornet in a blue jacket with stars......makes perfect sense!

Normally I would enjoy it when bad things happen to an ND rival team but things seem to be getting so out of hand in Ann Arbor that I actually think I have some sympathy for you and other Mich fans.

Everyone knew this would be a rebuilding season and it would take time for RR to get things going with his style of offense but now everything seems to be getting crazy up there. I don't wish all the crap that is going on there on up there on anyone. Hell, we just want to beat you on the football field, not have the program torn apart.

While I don't like his offense I think RR is an O.K. person to me. I'm not looking forward to ND defending that damn spread offense in years to come but I hope RR doesn't get destroyed by all this. I think he deserves better.

I may end up eating my words on all this but ND has or has had enough problems of it's own over the past few years for me to add to the fire.

I hope things getting straightened out in AA, well maybe not till after we play next season......dang, there goes that fan in me again.</t>

    Husker, you da man!

Bobda, in all seriousness, I have no doubt that the Buckeye Nation will provide the visitors from the north all the hospitality of which they are uniquely deserving......

The game yesterday was not quite what it has been in past years. Not as much riding on the outcome, etc., but there was certainly enough adrenal flowing by the players early on.

Buckeyes looked rather pathetic in the opening three series and the Woverlines were not any better.

Beanie Wells finally broke the ice with a 59 yard TD run and things settled down a bit.

Pryor did not have one of his better games, but had a nice TD pass to Heartline for a score. Unfortunately he made a couple bad throws for interceptions.

Definitely a down year for Michigan. Rich Rod has his work cut out for him.

Our fifth straight victory sets a record for us, but Michigan still holds a sizeable lead in the series dating back 105 years.

    Don
