Vcm is a Sparty! My head is spinning. I have been on the board and its Prodigy predecessor for nearly 18 years and now find out that some of my favorite folks are not only Domers and Buckeyes but that one is also a Sparty. I fear authorities in AA are going to impound my Wolverine passport.
Gameday taking Urban and Ohio State to task for even taking Hall to the game much less letting him play. Michigan Heisman Trophy Winner, Desmond Howard, said it wouldn't even have been a coaches decision if he'd done that, his dad would have kept him out of the game.
What else is new for ESPN? Old News Terry. I have never cared much for Howard after his Heisman pose in the endzone vs Ohio State! :wink:
Well the dream of a chance to maybe play in the BCS title game was shattered this evening by Michigan State. Buckeyes got off to a bad start and fell behind 17-0, we recovered and scored the next 24 points. MSU owned the 4th quarter with our porous defense. The Spartans certainly deserved the win. The sun will come up tomorrow! :wink:
I didn't see that coming. Superb coaching job by Dantonio. That defense was stoked and they completely took away the Buckeye's passing game.
Really strange game of streaks. MSU 17 in a row, Ohio State 24 in a row, then MSU 17 in a row. Once Ohio State got on a roll I thought it was their game, the Spartans sucked it up in the 4th quarter. There were several really good games to watch today.
Yeah I agree I thought the Buckeyes were poised to run the Sparty's out of the stadium at 24-17. But great run by them 24 straight is amazing and they seem to have the same kind of foundation that Alabama has in that they are likely to be big winners every year and be in the mix for the Nat'l Championship.
A few hours later and the loss while disappointing does not seem quite as bad. We simply were outplayed and MSU made life miserable for us in that 4th quarter. Fans are really down on the defensive coaches and I think Coach Meyer is going to be forced to take a hard look at Luke Fickell in particular.
