Bad news for the Buckeyes in that our leading tackler will be out for three to four weeks with a broken fibula on his right leg.

Sabino should be back for the Wisky and Michigan games. (final two games)

Another night game tonight in Bloomington vs the Hoosiers. 8:00 on BTN.

Reports from Warriors 11 this morning Zach Boren may see some game time this evening as linebacker, in addition to fullback.

I hope our pass defense will be a little more effective this evening on those short screen passes.

    GO Bucks!

Sid, The way this season is progressing, nothing can be taken for granted. Wilson seems to be a great coach and motivator.

Sid, The Hoosiers really made this an interesting game. I was about to pull my hair out near the end of the game! Way too close for comfort.

Every time the score was updated I kept thinking that it was a mistake. Is Indiana improving?

    Jim.

Many Ohio State fans are very disappointed with our defense last night. Probably like what a number of Notre Dame fans use to sound like on Notre Dame Nation boards. Coach Wilson has the Hoosiers buying into his system.

They simply do not give up and played hard to the end of the game. If they can improve on their rushing game next year, who knows what they might accomplish. He has helped his team with some junior college transfers.

Their confidence level at this point has to be sky high.

Their Big10 record doesn't show it, but in a word, yes. They had Michigan State beaten, but they just don't have the horses or the depth to hang in for 4 quarters with the better teams. It was evident when OSU players were running in the open field. The IU DBs didn't have the speed to keep up with them. Their OL looked like little kids vs. the OSU DL. Nonetheless, they show a great deal of fight and persistence to the end. The obvious key to their future is Wilson's ability to recruit higher-level talent, which remains to be seen.

Purdue visits Ohio State today in the Shoe. I am hoping we play better defense today with some of the adjustments and Natan Williams back in the mix. He was out at Indiana with a mild concussion.

We have experienced some difficulty with the Boilers in the last five years. The home team has been winning the games at home.

Weather should not be a major factor with the rain moving through the area this morning.

    GO Bucks!

Two big plays by Purdue and they make us look pretty bad on defense. In my opinion, we did not seem to be ready for the challenge.

Buckeyes score, but Purdue contnues to give us fits with short wideout strikes.

The safety allowing the Boilermakers to pick up the two points was crucial.

Too many turnovers by Ohio State and then the injury to Miller at the end of the third quarter. Bad news and no word at this point on the injury. I am willing to bet it is a neck injury. He was taken to the Wexner Medical Center on campus for evaluation.

Guiton comes in and engineers a touchdown with seconds remaining and we convert on a two point play to tie the game.

Buckeyes win in OT 29-22. What a game to watch and enjoy, at least for Buckeye fans.

Stu, by all rights Purdue should have won that game.

Good game by both teams. It's a shame that one had to lose. There was a lot of heart on the field there.

Last word on Miller is that it was a possible head injury. Apparently nothing serious and he supposed to be discharged this evening.

Just heard that here a few moments ago. Looked pretty bad when he came off the field. Amazing how things turn out sometimes.

Congrats my friends. Kinda down right now. Never underestimate the power of playing not to lose.

Stu...you nailed it. The word "choke" was invented to describe what Purdue did today. They played it safe, ran the clock...and got beat...by a team that was trying to win and never gave up. I watched this one and it was a classic match of a team that knows how to win versus a team that doesn't.

    :!:

Yup. I have nothing against Danny Hope. He's a good coach and obviously a good man...

But...I just have to believe that Purdue could do better. IMHO the Boilers have had many other coaches just like him in their history, but they could do much better than that. Purdue is a great university with a lot to recommend it. Why can't they land someone like Mike Riley at Oregon State? Or Chris Petersen of Boise State? They work for peanuts and produce much more with much less.

Game coming up Saturday in Happy Valley will really be a challenge for the Buckeyes.

The NIts are playing very solid football and on a five game winning streak.

Really do not know how well Braxton Miller will play or be able to play.

Offense really needs to step up and we have to eliminate the turnovers. Our lack of a consistent defense is even more troublesome.

This has the makings of a classic game. The Lions have whupped our butts more than once over there.

Ohio State has scheduled a home and away game with the Oregon Ducks 2020-2021. Glad to see this.

I just told Crazy John that in 2020 when Oregon sucks and he is giving me grief (in our assisted living center) about our weak non-conference schedule he should remember how good they were when we scheduled them.
