Yep, I knew he started a few games last year but a start against the likes of LA-Monroe in the friendly confines of DKR is not remotely similar to starting in Columbus in front of a hostile crowd 100,000+ facing the defending national champion in their home opener where facing 3rd and long he's not going to be able to hear himself spit and is forced to go on silent count and see's a pressure alignment he's never before seen on film and knows that the current protection called is likely to get him killed while also knowing his ability to communicate a change is iffy at best....that's gonna be a different animal for the young man. No doubt he's talented, but he's gonna take some lumps. He's a great athlete, he absolutely can and will hurt us with his feet but I'm pretty sure Sark would rather not have the golden boy taking shots all day long in the season opener. Ala the CFP championship game where we had no answer to Leonard bludgeoning us play after play on the opening drive, it was also clear that the young man wasn't going to be able to survive that pounding for 4 qtrs.
