True that....that's why we're all gonna meet at my favorite pre-game place of worship to take communion and say a few prayers.....! 8)
Ralph's fears are justified.....the Canes have speed and lots of it and that accounts for some great highlight reel plays but OSU's line and the skills of Pryor wear em down by the end of the 3rd quarter.... OSU 31-20
You know after growing up with the Hurricanes and Dolphins for 40 plus years it has been my observation that for some reason they tend to play poorly in rainy weather... On the other hand surprisingly they have done pretty well in the ice and snow.... :? Go figure ????
Ralph, Injuries are a pain. However, at least it wasn't what I expected. When I sow this, my first thought was: "What did they do?" Sometimes an injury is not as bad as a brain fart... sometimes. :?
I hate to see it rain for games this early in the season. May mean some missed balls and tackles on both sides. Anxious for the game to get underway. Good luck to both teams, hopefully no serious injuries to spoil the game. Don
Jerry and Stu have a great time.. Jerry must be excited I have never seen him post more then 1 a topic.... if at all a man of little words... Hope you guys win....
OSU <r>Well even though some of my fellow skyboxers are rooting for the "big blue" against ND on saturday, I'm pulling for the BucKs in this one! Just can't stand seeing the "canes" beat anybody. <br/> <br/> <COLOR color="red"><s></s>GO BUCKS!<e></e></COLOR><SIZE size="200"><s></s><e></e></SIZE></r>
I'll root for Notre Dame against somebody...just as soon as I can get Tim to root for Purdue against somebody. :wink: It'll be when...well, you know;
Some very close friends of ours make their home in Hell, Mi. They have a nice house on a lake with a picturesque view...
Sorry to hear about your injury situation Ralph, it appears as if we are a little better off missing only a backup tackle and the real concern is how much our starting DE Nathan Williams will be able to go. However, oftentimes we find the backups step up and play the games of their lives....ask Wally Pipp. Let's hope these young men make the best of their opportunity. play well and we have a great game. It's almost time to begin my pilgrimmage down to the Stadium and hook up with my Skybox buddies.... 8) Good luck to your Canes....
Weather forecast for todays game sounds a bit better. The rain might not arrive here until later in the day? Only time will tell. Weatherman is not always right! :lol:
