    Thanks guys. I still have double vision but the good news is that the nuro optimologist says that it should heal with time and no operation will be necessary.

    Well an update months later. I am pretty much back to normal. In fact my weight is several pounds heaver then when this happened.

    I am driving, bowling and in physical therapy. Pretty much back to normal and my endurance is improving. Probably about as good as it gets for 82 years young.
