I find myself torn on this issue.. It's great that they can identify you as a registered voter... It should be terrifying that they can identify you when you vote. I think the most patriotic thing we could do in this country is repeal the god damned Patriot Act, take a small sliver of our own country back and stop living in the media driven culture of fear. The American people should fear exactly one thing in this world, their own government..and it's the one thing we keep giving ourselves away to...it vexes me.
I know when I vote in person rather than absentee, they always ask me my name before I get my ballot. Don't they do that everywhere? (except maybe Chicago)

Every president who ever ran for reelection knew that the economy had to improve in his reelection year. Having given up running the government, Obama has spent the entire year trying to raise enough money to buy reelection. He's not going to give up his free golf and vacations easily.
Gip, it's becoming ever more clear that we have digested the spending induced "sugar high" that was the pork-bloated Obama "stimulus" and are tracking back to where the socialist-led, central government-dictated fundamentals would lead.....into the tank. Under this leadership, the decline is inevitable.
