To be fair, our premiums went up every year before Obamacare. In the first full year of OC they went up 15%. Last year they went up 11%. The real killer is to the insured themselves with the high up front co-pay.
We have a similar situation here. Without a true open market, the insurance companies left in the market can take their time exploiting the insured with up front policies.

That would be a great topic Ralph, and one that has been used to great effect to those politicians that would rather divide and conquer than lead. It plays out in every area of the political landscape, including the example you provide with Obamacare.
