Gallup: Unemployment Rate Jumps To 9.0%, Underemployment To 19.0%… Al Sharpton hardest hit. PRINCETON, NJ — The U.S. unemployment rate, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, is 9.0% in mid-February, up from 8.6% for January. The mid-month reading normally reflects what the U.S. government reports for the entire month, and is up from 8.3% in mid-January. Gallup also finds 10.0% of U.S. employees in mid-February are working part time but want full-time work, essentially the same as in January. The mid-February reading means the percentage of Americans who can only find part-time work remains close to its high since Gallup began measuring employment status in January 2010. Underemployment, a measure that combines the percentage of workers who are unemployed with the percentage working part time but wanting full-time work, is 19.0% in mid-February. This is higher than the 18.7% recorded for January, and is up significantly compared with January’s mid-month reading of 18.1%.
Poll: Americans Blame Obama For Craptastic Economy Over Congress By Huge 61% – 21% Margin… Congress has single digit approval ratings and they still beat Obama. Amazing. Via Washington Whispers: If President Obama plans on running against a do-nothing Congress in 2012, he might want to reconsider his competition. A Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday morning reveals voters believe Republicans in Congress can fix the country’s budget deficit crisis more than Obama can. Congressional Republicans edged out Obama with 46 percent of respondents saying they are confident that GOP legislators can solve the country’s budget woes while only 44 percent reported they were banking on Obama. While he waits for a GOP nominee, Obama has carved out his re-election campaign path against a do-nothing Congress, but 61 percent of those polled said they blame Obama for the economy’s slow recovery while only 21 percent hold Congress responsible.
I saw on the news that Obama the Ass Kisser apologized to Karzai the Opium Peddler for some charred Qurans found smoldering in a barrel. One of the Afghanistani soldiers, an "ally" then murdered two US soldiers. Has Karzai apologized? Remember when this boob was sworn in in 2009 and he immediately visited several foreign countries, bowing at the waist and apologizing for past American transgressions? Have you noticed how little travel this guy does to foreign nations on official business? Or how few foreign leaders come here? I have a hunch that they view him as I do; a weak, no-nothing buffoon. Even the British and French have little time for him.
It could be he has to stay home and watch the kids. Michelle is in Aspen skiing on her 16th vacation since entering the White House. OH MY! How can he rant about the "top 1%" the way they live life?
Poll: Voters Asked If They Want Free Government-Run Healthcare, 63% Say No… So bad they can’t even give it away for free. Via Washington Examiner: The voting public apparently agrees that nothing in life is free, especially health care. A new Rasmussen poll finds that 51 percent oppose free universal health care and a whopping 63 percent reject it if required to change their current insurance coverage to a free government plan. In a survey of 1,000 likely voters, Rasmussen waded into the current political debate over free health care and issues like contraception for women, finding that most don’t want freebies. He found that only 39 percent favor free health care for all Americans, with 51 percent opposed to universal free health care.

A 30 year-old, women's rights activist, pays $65,000.00 per year intuition, but wants the taxpayers to pay for her birth control pills? Looks like another Obama media set-up circus...
Math Time For Our Pencil-Necked Geek of a President Home - by BigFurHat - March 8, 2012 - 18:30 America/New_York - 24 Comments This is the same guy who believes there are 57 states... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1Bmv75p5Ag8?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0"></iframe> Let’s say the typical family travels 24,000 miles a year (a generous benchmark.) And let’s say gas is 4 dollars a gallon (a fairly accurate benchmark.) And let’s say the family cars get, on average, 30 miles to the gallon. That would mean the average family would purchase 800 gallons of gas a year at 4 dollars a gallon and spend $3200 a year. Obama is promising to create a car that will magically print $4800 a year for you and your family!! That’s a neat trick! Does it come out of the tail pipe? Let’s play with some numbers in order to get close to an $8000 a year savings in gas for you and yours. Let’s say gas was $20 a gallon and you drove around in your 30 mpg vehicle for a year, racking up 24,000 miles. You would spend $16,000 a year in gas. If Obama mandated that no vehicle could be sold unless it got 60 mpg you would save $8000 a year in gas. I think we’ve just seen the future. Obama foresees $20 a gallon gas prices.
This of course has recieved no play from the media that I'm aware of, but had Romney or some republican made that same mistake it would have been front page, lead story of the night.

CBO: Obamacare Will Cost Taxpayers $1.76 Trillion Over 10 Years… Which is only $820 billion or 87% more than we were told when the law passed. Via Washington Examiner: President Obama’s national health care law will cost $1.76 trillion over a decade, according to a new projection released today by the Congressional Budget Office, rather than the $940 billion forecast when it was signed into law. Democrats employed many accounting tricks when they were pushing through the national health care legislation, the most egregious of which was to delay full implementation of the law until 2014, so it would appear cheaper under the CBO’s standard ten-year budget window and, at least on paper, meet Obama’s pledge that the legislation would cost “around $900 billion over 10 years.” When the final CBO score came out before passage, critics noted that the true 10 year cost would be far higher than advertised once projections accounted for full implementation.
One Sentence From Ben Stein Obliterates Leftist Thinking Home - by BigFurHat - March 15, 2012 - 19:00 America/New_York - 7 Comments Of course, what Ben is omitting is that Obamacare is purposely designed to fail so that single payer can be institutionalized, and single payer without borders, or necessity to prove you are a citizen, means that single payer is purposely designed to have America fail. But, nevertheless, this perfectly illustrates the complete assholedness of leftism as it is currently presented to the American public. Paradoxical quote of the day from Ben Stein: “Fathom the odd hypocrisy that the government wants every citizen to prove they are insured, but people don’t have to prove they are citizens”. http://milwaukee.wisgop.info/2011/02/fathom-the-odd-hypocrisy-that-the-government-wants-every-citizen-to-prove-they-are-insured/
