<r>The rumors have been over the top on Prentice McKinney being a possible decommit lately with a visit to UCLA coming....this will probably put an end to that for now at least..<br/>

exellent news on him, we really need him in this class. I think the speculation though wasn't so much that he was looking to flip to UCLA but that he had some academic hurdles to get over and it wasn't a certain thing that he could do that...so that's why he was looking at UCLA where they don't have our academic standards for football players.

He and his coach say he is qualified. The kid is top 10 in his HS class so unless that is a particularly low academic school he looks to be good.</r>

I keep reading that it's still up in the air as to whether he gets into ND. I hope he does of course.

Also I see that St. Brown is still taking visits including one to Michigan! So I have a hard time seeing that he's a ND silent commit. Keep reading that the Jones kid is a ND certainty but he's still publicly committed to UCLA so again I wonder when he'll flip?

Golson a hot commodity on the transfer trail. It would really suck for him to go some place else and have a great year, while we struggled after Zaire gets hurt running the Read/Option!

I am trying really hard but I just can't work up any anxiety over the possibility of Golson transferring.

Stanley has reportedly decided to come back for his Sr. year. Big win for the Irish. OL has a lot of potential next year if they stay healthy.

Wow...ND basketball player, Zach Auguste is reportedly suspended for the rest of the year. We don't have many big guys, and he was the the best and our starter at center. Nice start to the season is likely to go way south without Zach. No report yet on why, I have to assume it's academics.

I'm going to take a wild guess here. First semester grades just come out. It just might be for academic reasons. :x

I don't know about ND of course, but I have a hard time believing that if finals are over pretty much by Dec 15th that it takes till almost Jan 15th for grades to come out. If it is grades though, technically he could play till the beginning of the 2nd Semester. I'm pretty sure that's what happened with Jerian Grant, Brey let him play in the games between semesters but he had to sit once the 2nd semester started.
