ND <t>For the record, I hate that pinstripe uniform the Irish wore. Just give me the classic blue and gold uni with a gold helmet please.</t>
I like our regular uniforms as well, but the ones we wore yesterday I liked as well for the Shamrock Series. I do believe that as the visitors we win have ACC refs who have been pretty lousy all season. They think holding. ND DL is not against the rules.
 USC head coach will lose his job if he gets beat by the Irish. Yesterday he got beat by a UCLA team that... - Only has 57 scholarship players on the roster. - Started 18 freshmen. - Allowed someone named Joshua Kelley to run for over 250 yards. Kelley played his first two years at UC Davis, which has a great veterinary school. He then transferred to UCLA. where nobody had ever heard of him. He now joins the long list of Gutty Little Bruin heroes remembered only by the USC Trojans who will refuse to talk about him...
Pretty successful weekend, not only got a solid win in football setting up the most important game of the season for us with USC, but also got wins in men's and women's basketball to go along with a sweep of Michigan State in Hockey. Women's basketball signed 2 top 10 players in the Nov early signing period as well. A good week for the Irish!
ND <r>Terry, <QUOTE><s> </e></QUOTE> Yes it is<B><s></s> now<e></e></B> the most important game of the year. the Trojans will be playing to keep us out of the playoff and The Irish will be playing <B><s></s>to go<e></e></B> to the play cause they don't care if usc goes to a bowl game or not. <br/> <br/> Just win Irish. just win. <E></E></r>
Correction: UCLA started 20 freshmen against USC along with one senior and a soph. Joshua Kelley ran for 289 yards...
Good question. Here's a link to their roster and there are more than 57 players on it, but an article in the Daily Bruin (not linked) said they had only 57 of 105 players available for USC. https://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/roster-numeric/ucla/92223
I think there was some turnover and injuries that plagued Kelly at the start of the season. You've not heard me panic all year and you won't see it coming any time soon. He'll get his players and his system, then things will be fun in Westwood again. In the meantime, the Victory Bell is resting right where it belongs.
FWIW, my buddy's nephew (who plays for the 'Cuse) said that ND was the best team they've played this year and it wasn't close.
