    Terry, IMO the rain was not as heavy as the '12 game, but combined with the cold temp and bitter wind, it might have seemed so. My oldest grandson was there in '12 and I wondered if he and his party had left before the climactic finish. They had not. Like Saturday, if the game hadn't been so close, the stadium would have been half empty at the end, don't you think (re: 2012)?

    Brief followup on the weather discussion. I talked to my friend who sat in the NE corner (flagpole). He said the wind was so bitter, you had to turn your face away from the field between plays. I remember that happening to me at a Navy game years ago in late November, which you expect, not early October. On top of that, he said the rain was heavier than it looked on TV (He watched the replay later at home). He said many fans around him were gone before halftime.
