    Hey according to Charlie Weis his "to hell with Michigan" comment was a tribute to Bo who is know to have said "to hell with Notre Dame" when the Irish declined to join the B10/11.

    O.K., I tried to be nice but after watching your little tribute to J. Clausen, all I can say is <B><s></s>"THE HELL WITH MICHIGAN"<e></e></B> <br/>

    Here's hoping he burns the team with the yellow jockstraps on their helmets for 400yards and 4 TDS. <E>8)</E> <br/>

    Some feel good stats about the near loss to SDSU.

    In 2003 against OSU beat SDSU 16-13. OSU finished that year 11-2. SDSU finished 6-6. BTW, OSU had a total of 196 yards offense, 2 turnovers and was 1 for 10 on 3rd down.

    In 2004 they lost to Michigan 24-21. Michigan finished 9-3 that year. SDSU finished 4-7.

    In 2005 they lost to OSU 27-6. OSU won the Fiesta Bowl. SDSU finished 5-7

    In 2006 they lost to Wisconsin 14-0. in 2006 Wisconsion went 12-1. SDSU finished 3-9

    Well it's off to SB for the game after a golf outing tomorrow afternoon. Taking foul weather gear to the course and the stadium. It may be a nasty weekend. Rain and wind will probably hurt the passing team more. Since M probably plans to run as much as possible and since ND is having trouble getting a running game going, I'm concerned.

    Should be a soaker in S. Bend for the game.

    You would think no one could throw much in a game like that but the wettest game I ever sat through was in 1968 in Jax and I witnessed Georgia throwing the ball all over the place in a downpour on the way to the most humiliating defeat of Florida I have ever witnessed.....51-0.

    The rain didn't seem to bother Ga Qb Mike Cavan that day as he completed 10 of 12 for 160 yds and two TDs....all in the first half!

    So...it may be a monsoon on Sat. but don't count out Clausen just yet.

    <r>FINALLY...something to cheer about! The game finally gave me hope that ND may be headed in the right direction. They played with emotion, heart, skill and they beat michigan. <br/>
    <br/>
    At times I thought I was seeing Brady Quinn out there! JC is starting to get it, especially when he has time to throw the ball. <br/>
    <br/>
    Still lots of work to be done but this can be a real good offense when it's mature. <br/>
    <br/>
    Biggest thing I think the players come away with from this game is CONFIDENCE. No doubt about it. <br/>
    <br/>
    This game also shows that bulletin board material like "THE HELL WITH MICHIGAN" doesn't really get ya much. A pep talk from Lou Holtz though, may just give you the spark you need to get going strong. <br/>
    <br/>
    So, with all due respect to BobDa, I still say "THE HELL WITH MICHIGAN" and Purdue, and Mich St. and USC and .................................................<br/>

    Gee I hope someone does a You Tube follow up with Clausen's second game vs Michigan. Those TD passes look mighty nice.
    Oh and while they're at it, perhaps someone could do a short video of Michingan trying to catch kickoffs, punts and hold onto the ball while running at the same time.

    To hell with Michigan
