Unfortunately, you're correct. For me, it harkens back to the days of Davie-Willingham-Weiss, when our DB tackling was horrible. IMO, extra effort needs to be made with CBs and most, not all, safeties who, even though they may be "elite", got away in HS not knowing tackling fundamentals. I know I sound like a cranky old man when I say this, but I never saw bad DB tackling during the Ara and Holtz years.
Terry, I read in the Columbus Dispatch this morning, that the lady buckeyes stuffed the Notre Dame Women Monday night, here in an exhibition game. Did you see or read anything about that? Score was 118-33.
Don it must have been Notre Dame College which is in South Euclid Ohio The Irish Women have already had a scrimmage with DePaul and a exhibition game with Div II Truman State. That's all that the NCAA allows. Not to mention that I don't believe there would be anyway that the irish women could lose by that margin!!
