It's potentially a good schedule, but as always we'll have to see how the teams on the schedule playout their seasons. Like most schedules it really comes down to the better teams on the schedule like Wisconsin, Stanford, Clemson and USC. Louisville has been good recently, and who knows what Arkansas will be like in 2020 it'll be the 3rd Year for new coach Chad Morris. It is what it is, and you can bet if we have a team good enough to contend for a playoff spot that somebody won't think it's as good as their favorite team that is also contending.
Terry, there will be some that say no matter how strong or weak your schedule is it's all about how many games you win.
Nice to see all ND’s opponents are FBS schools. No very sporting playing schools that give dozens less scholarships. Of course most of the FBS schools although they technically could qualify for the playoffs have NO CHANCE even if the go undefeated.

Well the other shoes dropped this week for CJ Sanders and Deon McIntosh. Both are transferring, Sanders to SMU as a graduate and McIntosh to the infamous East Mississippi Community College of Last Chance U fame. CJ Holmes the other player not expected back is still in limbo, he finished the semester but where he'll end up is not known. There had been some chatter that he might be able to make it back to the team, but that is a very long shot according to what I see online. On the playoffs, I can't wait till we have an undefeated Akron team and an undefeated Troy team taking a couple of spots in the College Football playoff! They'll be conference champs and undefeated!
Yes Corey, but besides LSU, Boise was the only top 25 team Troy played and they lost to them, but they had an 11-2 record.
I got sucked into this again. See my smiley face in my signature? That means I am a happy camper. Let the the haters hate!!!
I get what you're saying KP but there's a lot of perspective and hyperbole that goes into 'building a great schedule.' I hear people make fun of Cal every time Cal gets brought up. Never mind the fact that Ole Miss went out there with Shea Patterson and got their ass kicked by Cal. At the end of the day, the better marketing program seems to matter more.
This observation a bit off topic, but I am currently signed in using my Safari browser in lieu of Google's Chrome and Skybox is performing great, very fast and responsive?? No long waits for response and did not even have to sign in! Curious why this turn around, will have to do a little experimenting to see if it is a permanent solution.
Mine is much faster on Safari as well. However, when I hit "Reply" the first time to any topic it boots me out to the main menu. Then I go back into the topic and reappear the process and it works fine. That happens regardless of the browser.
