I saw that ND has never lost to Ohio State in lacrosse, something like 16-0 all time.

I know Ohio State has good programs across the board and while ND lacrosse has been a very good program and has played for a Nat'l Title twice (lost both times) and in general is an elite program...but still you'd have figured some where in there Ohio State would have gotten some wins.

Awesome win tonight by the Irish Women vs Oregon. It was a tough back and forth game in the 1st half with Oregon's Ionescu showing why she is one of the best players in college. But she wasn't much of a factor in the 2nd half and Marina Mabrey who was quiet in the 1st half got her Jersey girl moxie going in the 2nd half and the Irish took control.

I like the Confetti Gatorade baths a lot more than those stupid actual Gatorade baths they do in football.

On to the Final Four, what a year for them all the injuries and still make the FF. Now it's UConn, who they lost to at UConn by 9 points in Dec. It will be a tall mountain, UConn has been more than very impressive so far in the tourney.

    Geno vs Muffet.

Re: the ND/Ohio State lacrosse rivalry. Turns out that we have a 16 game winning streak against them but have played them a lot more than that. In fact we are their biggest rival in lacrosse, they have played us more than any other opponent.

    HISTORY WITH THE IRISH
    • Sunday will be the 57th all-time meeting between Ohio State and Notre Dame. The Irish hold a 35-21 edge in the series as the two teams have met every season since 1981.
    • The Buckeyes have played the Irish more than any other Division I opponent in its history.

Notre Dame women beat UConn 91-89 in an OT thriller. It's the coming out party for Jackie Young. It was a heavyweight fight with both teams getting knocked down and getting up off the canvas to come back. In the end, it was ND still standing.

What a great season for the ND women to get this far given the season-ending ACL injuries to 4 key players. We're in the championship game and will be the decided underdog vs. Mississippi State. BUT we're in the game.

Coming out party for the greatest scorer in Indiana HS history, you are correct Sid! It was a great game, we should have won in regulation but took care of business in OT. With a second left I thought the best UCONN could do would be a 1/2 court heave but our defense wa maybe celebrating too early and they got a close in shot off. I almost had a coronary when she got that shot off.... Thank God it missed!

Miss State will be favored, but if you can beat UCONN you can beat anyone.

What did ND blow? 2 give point leads with less than a minute to go in regulation and OT? UConn just would not die.

A P.S. to my earlier comments. Ogunbowale is a beast. If you were watching, you saw the inbounds play under the ND basket with 1 second left on the play clock. I don't believe I've ever seen a basket made under those circumstances. She caught and shot an off-balance shot and made it. Then she made the shot to win the game in the final seconds. Wow!

As I said to Bobda, those Milwaukee kids are tough. She's tough as nails.

Terry, thanks for posting the Twitter videos.

Incredible game last night. There were at least 4 occasions during the game where I felt that UConn was going to pull away and win, the last being when they they rallied and forced the game into OT. ND's resilience in adversity was amazing.

UConn's offense is beautiful to watch but ND's guard play- with their ability to create their own shots and drive to the basket--really broke down UConn's defense.

It was a late, great night. Hate to lose a 5 pt. lead in the final 22 sec. but they refused to let it faze them. So when I got up for my early tee time the first thing I did was put out my ND flag so that the UConn fans across the street could remember last night. :D

Wow, looked like Miss State was going to win big against Notre Dame but the Lady Irish have a big 3rd quarter and tie the game.

    4th quarter coming up.
