ND <t>Yeah, I see he is doing well. Hopefully Crist stays healthy all year and we don't need him but it's good to know he might be able to handle the offense if he had to.</t>
Well it's offical McDonald is out for the Purdue game, so it looks like Carlo will be getting his first start. Hope the lad is up to it, thankfully it's in ND stadium. McDonald is starting to look like a kid who is going to have a hard time staying on the field, I believe he had injury issues last year as well. It's a shame as he is apparently pretty talented kid and was doing well before the injury. I think it's a hyperextended knee.
Tim, let's hope that Crist stays healthy and Rees gets to play in a number of games in mop up. That would be good on two accounts.
ND <t>Well this pre-season camp sure seems to be different than any we've seen in quite some time. I don't remember this much competition for starting slots under any of the past 3 HCs we've had. Nobody seems to be safe. No matter if you've been a starter in he past Kelly and company are making them all work for their positions. Personally, I like it. He doesn't seem to care what you have done before. Whether you are a freshman or senior or even 5th yr. it seems he will play the best man for the job. The coaching staff doesn't seem interested in throwing out a 2 deep for the public to consume so much as they are interested in making sure they have the best man at each position when they kick off on Sept 4. I Don't think things would be going the same if CW were still there. <br/> <br/> I'm hoping all this is for the better and I gotta feeling is is.</t>
