I wish we had the luxury of waiting on Savon Huggins, but he's going to take it to the end. The Hayes kid though is a solid pickup, I have read that he could be moved to DB.
Hayes <t>Hayes seems to rank pretty high on most of the recruiting service publications:<br/> <br/> #59 (MaxPreps 100); #75 (Rivals250); #121 (Scout300)</t>
Hayes <t>Sounds like Hayes is saying Lynch will probably commit over the weekend. Now that would be really sweet!</t>
It does appear that Lynch is going to commit this weekend. He's a tremendous player. I don't mean to down grade Hayes, I just think Huggins is a notch above him.
Recruits <r>How about two 4 star recruits in one day? Anthony Rabasa the OLB gave his verbal to ND today also. <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E></r>
Recruits <r>Lynch will be next over the weekend! Class is starting to look good huh? Maybe this Kelly guy can recruit after all. GO IRISH!!! <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E><br/> <br/> according to Tom Lemming:<QUOTE><s> </e></QUOTE></r>
Recruits <r>we seem to be getting a fair number of recruits from the Florida area. No doubt Urban will be up to his usual tricks trying to pull some of them back. Can't count on any of these until signing day for sure. <E>8)</E></r>
You can thank Tony Alford, Kelly made a right decision in keeping him on staff the guy is a great recruiter. I don't know a lot about Rabassa though, but everybody seems to like him a lot. Class is shaping up very nicely for Kelly.
ND <r>Terry,<br/> <br/> On Rabasa....<br/> <br/> He had a final four of Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State and Miami so I'm guess he must have some talent. <E>8)</E></r>
ND <r>JO'Co, <br/> <br/> It's looking like we should have some more good news coming over the weekend.... <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E> <E></E></r>
 Aaron Lynch maybe? Kelly is building a fast, tall, defense that will kick some arse somewhere down the line. I love the way he over-recruits LBs, DEs and QBs. You can always turn those guys into something else if they don't work out the way you wanted. Player development is the most important part of the plan, not an afterthought...

Here's a nice piece on Brady Quinn, I knew that he was a good guy and as far as I know never got into any trouble. But I didn't know how important his faith is to him, between he and Tebow they have quite a duo when it comes to bible reading and faith. Brady Quinn
It's being reported that Mike Maycock of the NFL Network is going to be the replacement for Pat Haden. I don't know him, he's a B.C. guy though, so I guess they couldn't find another USC guy or even a Michigan guy and went for the BC guy to show how fair they are with regards to the broadcasting team.
How'd we ever lose a game???  This video PUMPS ME UP!!! ND <r>Good video Terry. Gets me excited for the season too. Clausen and Tate may be gone but there is a lot of talent there and with a good coach, which I believe we have now, we can expect a good season. I really expect some exciting things from Dayne Crist. With targets like Floyd and Rudolph... well, we'll see. <br/> <br/> Big weekend coming up. Media day and then PRACTICE! <E></E></r>
Here's an article on Mike Maycock who continues to get good reviews on ND sites from those who have watched him on the NFL network. Mike Maycock
