I've read several reports around the web that deal with ND and a conference. Mike Brey has supposedly said that we are headed to the B10, and another one that said that we can no longer get BCS conference teams to schedule us after Oct10 and that the scheduling issue will force us into a conference.

Well I hope he keeps his word but this commit is huge for Kelly as it shows he <B><s></s>CAN<e></e></B> get the <B><s></s>Elite<e></e></B> talent to South Bend! Hopefully it puts an end to that talk. <br/>

BTW I bought that picture he has in his office, I really liked it.

Also I sure hope that if Brian Kelly has a great first year that he doesn't have somebody write a book. I bought both Losinghams and Charlies books...kiss of death.

I was thinking the same thing. No books please! I don't think you'll see a book from Kelly until he accomplishes something really big at ND.</t>

Having Crist be able to participate in Spring Ball is a great relief for me. I think this will payoff big time this fall. <E>8)</E></r>

very interesting article. I do agree with him about the changes in the social makeup of the student body. Once again I blame Monk most of all for those changes.
I'm somewhat puzzled at the time the writer took to dump on the Clausen workout. As I understand it, these type of events replace the players performance at the NFL combine. Everything he criticizes about the pro day workout can be said about the NFL combine workouts.

I wonder if the guys from the 50's and 60's felt like it wasn't the same old Notre Dame they knew when they looked at the school in the late 70's and 80's? Women, new dorm assignment system, etc.

I was thinking that and I bet Sid feels the same way. Being in at 12 execpt 12:30 on Sat. was a bitch. Women in the rooms? Only on football Sats. and parent weekend events. Those 80's guys had it easy. :D
