I only say this once a year lately, twice a year max.....sorry boys, it's a conference thing. GO BLUE!
ND <r><QUOTE><s> </e></QUOTE> A conference thing? Just when I was going to root for the Buckeyes this weekend against um! You should be rooting for anyone who plays mich!!! <br/> <br/> Conference?????????? Geez!&% Give me a break. <br/> <br/> Now I really want to beat scum more than ever!!!<br/> <br/> <E>8)</E></r>
ND <r>So help me understand this. Two weeks ago, no one in his right mind except scum fans was predicting a scum win over ND, nobody!<br/> <br/> Now shoelace has one great game against a UConn team that couldn't catch a pass all day long, and was obviously over rated by just about everyone after winning their bowl game and everyone is jumping on the scum bandwagon! I just don't get it and I ain't buying it. ND will put more than 10 pts on the board and there is no way shoelace will run for over 150yds again against ND's D. <br/> <br/> It may be a close game but scum will be playing a much more talented team than they did last week. <E>8)</E></r>
Those Big10 dudes always stick together, sometimes unnaturally so!! Shoelaces had a great game, you can't deny that and he's a very dangerous player. Add to that the fact that Robt. Marve was able to get to the edge on our defense, and it's been a long time since we had a good defense....well you have what you have. Irish defense will have to be very discipliined and focused to keep him in check. I do think our offense will be able to move the ball on UM it's always hard to say how much we'll move and score. But I wouldn't be shocked if we would score at least 30 points. Main thing I'm worried about is the weather, it keeps getting worse as the week goes on. Every time I look the % of rain goes up and the high temp for the day goes down. I can't believe I'm packing foul weather gear and warm clothes. I thought for sure this would be a T-Shirt and Shorts game.
It just might be........then again, maybe it will be rain gear and cool weather clothes......then again maybe you'll have to peel off the cool weather clothes..........That's Indiana weather for ya!
Heading off tomorrow, usual suspects will be with me. Brother, Nephew, Bro-in-law and 2 of his family members. Staying up at Benton Harbor in your old spot!
ND <r>Have a safe trip Terry and I hope you bring some luck to the Irish this weekend. Enjoy the game.<br/> <br/> <E></E></r>
I'm off!!! I'll be thinking of you guys sitting at home in your cozy warm dry dens watching the game!! Go Irish!
have a great time give all a hug for me . Wish Joco and I were going. we will be there in spirit... have a safe trip
In deference to all of my die hard friends and family Michigan fans not to mention my good man Bobda right here on this board.....and in memory of all of the crisp fall days I spent in the Big House singing that raucous fight song...something about conquering the West....and because one of the most entertaining, denigrating band/student demonstrations I ever witnessed is when the Michigan section does the Bullwinkle song and makes moose ears every time MSU comes in to town...( man that's amusing )....and...because the Wolverines OWN the SEC.....I gotta give it up: .... Go Blue!!!! http://thesportsunion.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/michigan_football_2.jpg
I would like a minute for rebuttal: THE University of Tennessee has only played Michigan once... and we won that one 45 - 17 in 2001. 8)
