ND <r>Huskerman/RECane,<br/> <QUOTE><s> </e></QUOTE> You're kidding right? If not, you know nothing about the ND fanbase. you think they get 80,00 fans from South Bend? think guys, think.</r>
Tim, I can't speak for Ralph, but your right, I only really know Husker FB. I'm just being me and doing a little eye poking here on the Box. Good luck to ND this Saturday, and being the Cane fan I am, I hope the Irish crush them.
OK great, group hug is done....now question is will I see ALL IRISH FANS show some Squirrel Nuts and put 20 points on them this week....I haven't even checked the contest yet...are they even one of the choices?

Ugh.... Let me go ahead and say great game Notre Dame, your defense is fantastic and a great mix on your offense. I wish we were making it more competitive but your experience is evident from all corners...
Really surprised at how quick ND's D looks. I don't know they're back, but this wasn't a bad Miami team they completely controlled. Although, KSU did the same thing, but they look pretty good, too. Congrats domers. btw - those helmets are hideous. So are the reflective numbers.
No worries. Those were a one time deal. However, I'm sure you can purchase helmets and jerseys online.
Wow, just came out and dominated in the 2nd half on the LOS. 2 passes. Almost 400 yds rushing. Canes are apparently just too young. Too many mistakes, dropped passes etc. But they look like they have a lot of talent that just needs to get older. Can you believe Cam McDaniel? Does that kid run hard or what. I really expected a something like a 27-21 win for the Irish. I just didn't see how we could keep that Miami deep passing game out of the endzone. Tommy Rees gets another win as a Starter!
When all is said and done, I thought the unis were pretty cool. Of course, winning the game certainly influences my opinion.
ND <t>I'll just state the obvious. We kicked they're arse! <br/> We came out, they tried a big round house punch right after the opening bell. we ducked, and then proceeded to body shot them until they couldn't take it anymore. <br/> <br/> I don't know if we're top 10, top twenty or top 50. I do know we have a pretty good team and with the offense coming on now. We're getting better.</t>
I guess we all saw the same things in this one. Miami was talented, but just too young. They would look great for awhile, then the mistakes would come in bunches. They will upset some teams with their speed this year, however, so I'm glad to get them behind us... 1. Golson - He finally looked like a real college quarterback. Not a great one, but a real one and the Irish haven't had one of those in years. He's showing definite improvement, patience and poise. He's moving the team both on the ground and in the air and he doesn't turn the ball over. This will work......finally. 2. OLine - The Irish rolled on the ground without throwing a pass from early in the 3rd qtr to the end of the game. Even when they substituted, Cam McDaniel rolled behind Conor Hanratty and Nick Martin. This will work for years... 3. Dbacks -The safeties got burned early with their shallow positioning, but Diaco made the adjustment of the day when he pushed them back to cap off the deep threat and dared Miami to throw in front of them. The closer the Canes got to the Notre Dame endzone, the less room there was to pass and the closer the safeties were to clobbering the WRs. It worked like a charm. Especially effective were safety Matthias Farley and Linebacker Danny Spond. They have a way of separating receivers from the ball as soon as they touch it... 4. Running backs - I have no favorite among Wood, Riddick, GAIII or McDaniel, but George Atkinson III is the fastest human being on planet earth and there is something to be said for that... 5. Kid monsters - Teo and Tuitt influence every play. Nobody intentionally puts the ball carrier or passer near them... 6. KLM and Robby Toma played one of the best games of their careers.
