I know a lot of Badger fans are sad watching Coan hitting 3 long TD passes especially considering yesterday’s debacle vs PSU. Lost his job to Mertz due to an injury and that was not a decision embraced by many Badger fans.

Hamilton is a great player but he’s an idiot. If he doesn’t smarten up he’s going to hurt the team.

    Irish look pretty good.
    Hope they bury the Semi-holes.
    Have always disliked them...

Pretty good game 38-28 FSU hanging in.

But Irish look like the superior team to me.

Running into the kicker? Irish fans might start missing Big Ten refs…..

How in the world was that a 5 yard running into the kicker instead of a 15 yard penalty?

Reminds me of some pretty bad officiating in the ACC in the past.

The coaching decision to change our defensive scheme was terrible. Win or lose it pissed away an 18 pt. lead.

If that was a pass, why wasn't it grounding.

Lot of drama in this Irish win. Heavy duty cardiac rehab for Tim tonight! Great game.

Milton coming in after Travis’ helmet flew off after a hard hit reminded me of when Schembechler warned his players not to injure Jim Otis because Ohio’s State’s back up RB, John Brockington, was twice as good as Otis.

Seriously, there were some pretty bad calls in this game.

This fits in the category of any win is a good win.

The second half defensive strategy had me scratching my head.

Very pleased with the 1st game by Jack Coan. If our AA TE doesn't drop two sure 1st downs, we likely win in regulation.

It was good to see McKenzie Milton getting back on the field, glad he didn't get the win though.

In a game where Bobby Bowden was honored it's a bit fitting that a missed FG cost FSU the game. It was wide left though not wide right! :D

They have a lot of work to do this week to get ready for a very experienced Toledo team.

The most reliable player for the Irish was our kicker.

FSU’s kicker actually drilled the 50 yard FG and split the uprights but it did not count as Norvell challenged the fumble ruling just before the snap.

Well, it’s not like he started the wrong QB or something.

    post game thoughts:
    1. Well, that was something.
    2. FSU with their 11 transfers are a lot better than they were a year ago.
    3. We should have housed this team.
    4. I'm starting to figure ways we can convince Kelly to keep time outs until the end of the game.... Maybe a candy or sweet treat for properly called timeouts.
    5. His ripoff of the great John McKay was 'cringy' at best. Opposing coaches will use that against us in recruiting unless Kelly owns it and finds a way to not deny it.
    6. The officials SUCKED. We're talking goat fluffers here. Holding all night. Roughing the punter..I could go on, but have to do the next one.
    7. Our skill is elite, our Oline is not. They may get there but they need to be nastier.
    8. A win is a win.

Fun act, my former mother-in-law is friends with the head ref. I'm going to see if she can set up a meet and greet. If she does, I will proudly tell him that he heads a crew that's not worth a sack of sh*t. Don't think I won't. They were atrocious.
